Would be perfect if my Yorkie liked it
My veterinarian recommended this food for my seven pound, 3 year old rescue Yorkie. It would be perfect if she liked it. She will eat it, but only if I mix in some tasty (and fragrant) wet food. I do plan to continue using it, it agrees well with her, her coat is becoming more shiny, and she is looking so much healthier and more energetic
My picky chihuahua mix loves it!
We were having trouble getting our 8.5lb chihuahua to eat full meals since she never seemed to like any brands! We tried yummy meal toppers with kibble from Science Diet, Royal Canin, and Rachael Ray with no luck and she was starting to look on the thin side. Finally I picked up Purina Pro for toy breeds and she inhaled the very first bowl we put down!! The kibble bits are the smallest size out of all the ones we’ve tried and we think she enjoys crunching on it much better. Also the chicken and rice flavor gets her excited to eat now so she’s gained a bit of weight and has a healthy shiny coat and more energy. Very happy with this food and Chewy’s amazing customer service!
Yummy for dogs
Hi, I highly recommend this food. I ordered the wrong food and my maltese ate it up and loved it. She is supposed to be on a low fat/sensitive stomach and skin food but everything has been back ordered so I am hoping for the best for her.
Perfect size kibbles
Both of my Yorkies are without teeth. We were feeding then Redford Naturals canned food. We decided to try mixing this with Redford for dinner because one lil guy is really finicky. So far so good! The size if the pieces is perfect for both boys. I’d recommend this.
Easy to use and SO convenient
Right now pet food is not always available in the stores. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats and they all seem to eat a LOT! It is so nice to know that their food is going to be delivered on time. I am a full time caregiver for my father so having it delivered is wonderful!
Pro plan toy dry dog food

Excellent kibble for small dogs.
Purina Pro Plan Toy Breed is the first kibble my Maltese has truly liked. It is crunchy but not too hard (she is 10 years old), very small nuggets too. She often gulps her food rather than chewing, so the small size is helpful. It also softens in water nicely. Our Matese's waste is never runny and always evacuated easily, so the balance of fiber in this food is great!

My little Japanese chin has such tiny teeth. I’ve been searching for a food he can eat. Everything I’ve tried is either too big for his tiny teeth to chew or he refuses the flavor & walks away. Finally!! My chin my LOVES this food! so easy for him to chew. Thank you Purina!
