Lucy Loves This Purina Pro Mix!
Lucy really loves this Purina food! Must be the combination of duck & quail. She *could not wait* to dig into her first bowl-full. The standard amount for dinner was gone in 5 minutes flat. She licked the bowl clean, whining for more. Given her enthusiastic response, she'll definitely get more!
PPP
A few months back we moved our 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer over to this from his puppy food and he devours this. No food toppings or coaxing needed like we used to have to do with his PPP puppy food. We did a taste test to see if he’d even prefer one flavor vs another, and he chose this one every time over the traditional chicken.
Purina Pro Plan Performance
Have been feeding this food to my lab for quite a while. Surprised to see on this last shipment that the kibble was cut in size, probably half the original size. My lab is a fast eater. Now even faster with the smaller kibble. May have to search other foods with Kate get kibble.
Great for growing doggies
I have two coon hound border collie mixes (1.5 years old) and a full border collie (1 year old). Our vet advised we could move off of puppy food, and we had good experience with Purina ProPlan in the past with our previous senior dog. Since all 3 dogs are very active daily and beginning dog sports, we decided to use this formula. They have all maintained a good weight, nice coats, good muscle tone, no digestive issues. Our border collie eats more than the recommended daily amount for her weight because she is VERY active and would be underweight (and grouchy) if she did not eat enough. I'm very satisfied with this food, and our dogs like it so much we use it as training rewards sometimes as well.
Great Product
I needed to switch to a higher protein/fat diet for my dog to prepare for pregnancy. She is a picky eater and it’s hard to find something that doesn’t cause loose stools. She loves this product. Thank you!

I am 2 1/2 years old and weigh 65#...I've been eating ProPlan but they discontinued my previous good food so Mom bought this one. All I can say is WOW...I never leave a single morsel in my bowl ... no more playing picky with this one! She might take it away!
allergy friendly!!
One of my dogs is very allergic to chicken. She breaks out in hive with all food. PPP Quail duck and Turkey works well for her. She loves her food so much she actually gets excited for her kibble. She loves anything duck or Turkey. Tho the only thing I worry about is the poultry meal. Not sure if they have anything like chicken in it. She hasn’t broke out into hives yet we just bought our second 6lb bag to see if this will be her forever dog food. My second dog is very picky and won’t eat it. So I will have to find another dog food for her.
Great food
We used Chewy for the first time after getting a coupon and needing specialty food for our dog's allergy. The order was easy to place and quick to arrive and our dogs LOVE the food....even our picky eater is more than happy for meal times and is back to reminding us it's time to serve up!
Will not be purchasing
I have been feeding our dogs this for over a year with no issues until last bag both dogs were sick and one ended up at the emergency vet and food has awful smell will be changing brands .
This must taste good!
My Brittany is a very picky eater, but he likes this. He also likes one other one, so I'm ordering that too and will mix the two together. I know ProPlan foods are all good quality.
