I have a mini horse w Cushing's so am very particular about what I feed him. Squirt is on Day 5 of this feed being mixed in with his routine pelleted feed. He noticed the change and ate a tad slower - I think he was trying to figure it out. Too soon to determine his tolerance but so far no GI/bowel changes. Nice small pellets, great packaging - easy to pour into larger secure container. Time will tell as I continue to offer this feed each day.

I’m always on the lookout for feeds that my 25yo Chushings and insulin resistance mare can safely eat and I'm very happy to have found this. This feed is lower in sugar and starch than the other feeds i’ve used and the pellets are small and soft enough for her to chew without soaking - she’s missing multiple teeth. And as a bonus she like it!

My horse is on pasture and alfalfa and at 20 doesn’t need the extra sugar in senior feed in his supplement. This is a great option for him. He ate every last bit before moving on to his alfalfa, which I served at the same time. The feed smells fresh and is packaged well in a nice bag. The feed was not crumbled or powdery, but nicely shaped small pelleted bits that were easy to scoop and not sticky or too firm.
