Can you get the arch without the swinging door?

The cat doors come as a complete set, which includes both the door and the arch, along with frames for both sides, screws, hole covers, a template for easy installation, and full instructions. At this time, the components aren’t sold separately—so the arch alone isn’t available on its own. As for using it without an actual door, some customers have gotten creative and chosen to DIY or modify the installation based on their needs. While that’s totally up to you, we do recommend using the product as intended, especially since it's designed for interior use only and works best when installed on wooden surfaces about 1.25 to 1.75 inches thick.

Can this door be used on a "fire" door? A door that leads into a garage?

No flap

There was no training the cat to go thru the flap. My daughter’s cat never did, so they have the flap fastened up, otherwise their cat wouldn’t go thru. This required

There was no training the cat to go thru the flap. My daughter’s cat never did, so they have the flap fastened up, otherwise their cat wouldn’t go thru. This required no training. He went thru it as soon as it was installed. It is much cuter than the flap kind too. I love it.

Easy installation

Our cats LOVE the new door plus we can finally shut the big door so no one can see into our utility room. The cats instantly started using it and fits our door

Our cats LOVE the new door plus we can finally shut the big door so no one can see into our utility room. The cats instantly started using it and fits our door. The template helped a lot and made for easy work! You will have to have your own tools when cutting out the doors but other than that it’s cute, convenient and discrete. We have some big cats and a little kitten but we got the XL and it’s purrfect!

Love it.

Very easy to install. Used a jigsaw to cut the door. The only issue I had was the nails were too long and would get caught on each other when trying to screw them

Very easy to install. Used a jigsaw to cut the door. The only issue I had was the nails were too long and would get caught on each other when trying to screw them in at the top part of the cat door so had to screw in a longer nail off to the side of where it’s intended to go. Other than that it’s great, my cat loves it as well :)

XL door fits chonky cat

Had to get the big boy door because the cats kept getting locked in the basement. Works great!! Cats have no issues using it.

I was so happy when it arrived so quickly and I was even happier when, after I installed it, it looked as amazing as it did! I was even more blown away by how quickly

I was so happy when it arrived so quickly and I was even happier when, after I installed it, it looked as amazing as it did! I was even more blown away by how quickly my cats took to it, when I was worried that I would have to train them to use it. But it was like: the second it was installed, they knew what to do (some did need a little bit of coaxing)
