my picky pup was not interested in this food at first, but he after he got a taste, he definitely likes it now. works great as a meal topper. beef, chicken, and liver as the first ingredients is great, but i don't love how high soy is on the list; kinda expected more from rachael. the cans are big though, so as a meal topper it's an affordable and healthier option.

My dogs love all wet food, and this one is no different. I am only knocking off a star due to my own preferences rather than my pups'. The food itself is pleasantly fragrant - the dogs go bonkers for it and it's not stinky or overly pungent for me! It must taste fine for the pups since they woofed it down happily. My only complaint is a rather picky one - I use wet food almost exclusively to give my dogs medications. This balance of thin stew and chunks is a little difficult to use for my purposes. I'd spoon out a small amount, open up a pill capsule or toss in a half tablet and I'd end up spending time smooshing the chunks down for a more pate-stew mix. While I don't feed my dogs meals of wet food, this mix did make me realize that if I did feed them meals of this sort of wet food, it would be particularly inconvenient if I needed/wanted to give a partial can. Shake up the cans first if that is your situation so the chunks are more evenly distributed throughout the can so you're not serving meals that are mostly stew or mostly chunks depending on which part of the can you're in. I admit my "issue" with this food is a very small thing and it's rather niche. Other than that, I think this is a fine food that any dog would enjoy!

Our dog has tried and enjoyed other Nutrish wet food but not as much as this new dinner. From start to finish, Real Beef & Veggies wet food earns our thumbs up. We appreciate the easy open pull top lid while our dog drools for his upcoming meal. The gravy isn’t too thin, making serving a breeze, whether in a dish, licky mat or Kong. The chunks of beef are a perfect size for our medium-sized dog. Veggies are visible, including peas and carrots. The can is standard size, fitting a typical plastic lid cover nicely. Best of all, our dog loves it! We sometimes include it as a topper to his dry kibble. But his favorite is as a surprise treat in a puzzle feeder, perfect for a hungry working dog. He zooms to his bed, wiping his face and rolling over in joy after the last delicious bite.

When I opened the can it smelled good and my girl was excited to get her bowl. It had nice sized chunks, lots of gravy , carrots and peas could clearly be seen

The food looks just like picture on the can which is good so you will not be disappionted as far as that is concerned. We use it to mix with our dogs dry food. We have two dogs a small female Pit Bull and our big boy is an Olde English Bulldogge. Our girl is a little finicky however we are finding our dogs will eat it but they really like the other canned dog food that we purcahse from Chewy which contains larger tender cuts and vegatables much better. We have used trhis prodcut in the past and have sometimes noticed that both of the dogs stool have been a little looser on occasion. Both products are around the same price point but the other product (I am respecting Chewy's policy and not inclunding the brand name) we buy offers more of a variety. So if you are looking for a wet food to add to your dogs dry kibble or just a decent tender cuts canned food you might consider giving this a try.

The Nutrish whole chunks and gravy is an amazing quality product! The gravy is thick and flavorful and the pieces are tender. I really like that each of the pieces are similar in size and you are able to blend them into a cohesive meal. This is a standalone food but I prefer to use it over dry to add more flavor and extra nutrition. This food would be extra beneficial for an older dog or one that has sensitive teeth. I would definitely feed this straight up after a dental procedure or a dental cleaning. The gravy has a thick consistency and smells amazing like food cooking in a crock pot especially if you warm it up prior to adding to the dry. Nutrish is an exceptional value.

My adult American Akitas are fans! I’ve been adding a spoonful as a topper to their dry kibble and they gobble it up. To be fair however, my pups find almost everything delicious. Just be careful to fully read the ingredient list, I only quickly skimmed through the ingredient list before ordering and found out upon delivery the beef and veggies recipe also contains chicken. My dogs have a chicken sensitivity so I’ll only be giving them this wet food occasionally.
