Because Rachael Ray Nutrish may offer different ingredients than your pet is used to, it may take up to ten days for your pet's system to become acclimated. Slowly mix with other food over a five- to ten-day period until your pet is solely eating Rachael Ray Nutrish.
Looks good with pieces of carrots and peas. For some reason my dog picks them out and leaves them on the floor. Otherwise she does like the food and I feel like she has more energy since I started her on it
I purchased EVERY bag of dog food my pet supplier carried for Rusty. He turned his nose up at every brand I purchased even leaving the food on his mat for two days. Then I bought Rachael Ray's Nutrish Chicken, rice and fruit plus veggies. Rusty loves the food and because it is pricey,of course, he doesn't get as many toys and he has to use his bed one more year! I feel good when I feed Rusty as now, at three o'clock, his dinner time, he stares a hole through me until I fix his food!
My dogs hated this. I couldn't even break them apart the food was so hard. Literally had to soak it with warm water to make a mush so the dogs could eat it. Absolutely was a waste of my money but I couldn't find the kind of food I normally give them by Rachel Ray. Never again would I buy this or even recommend it to anyone, other then to stay away from it unless your dogs have teeth of steel.
My girls have been on Racheal Ray as puppies. Their food was out of stock and I purchased this one, my girls do like it but the extra peas, carrots chicken are not far and few between. Not happy!
I buy the 11.5 pound bag for 2 of my shih tzus. At first they loved it, especially the large chunks of chicken. They look for that first in their bowl. :) There weren't too many pieces in the first bag I fed them but they still stayed interested. The 2nd bag is even worse. I don't think there is even 10 pieces in the entire bag. I have to dig through the whole thing to even find a piece for each of their bowls. They get most feedings without the chicken pieces. The bag lasts me about a month. They aren't crazy about it anymore. It's pretty disappointing.
I feed my dog mostly turkey or beef meatballs w/fresh veggies. I mix all together w/chicken or beef broth & toss in about 1/2 cup of the Rachael Ray dog food. I like that it has dried fruits & veggies in it. He eats it all up very quickly.
This is the best dry food I can find. It has little pieces of peas, carrots and apple. There are also little nuggets of chicken mixed in. The price is very reasonable and I love having it delivered to my front porch. Please keep the shelves stocked better. Many of this brand dry food has been out of stock for a week! I was able to purchase one bag and then it immediately went out of stock again. Ugh.
My dog isn't very picky. She likes this brand, but spits out half this flavor on the floor. I wouldn't recommend this flavor to anyone.
We recently switched to Rachael Rays Nutrish Dish a few weeks ago. Leia loves it. She has more energy and her coat is soft and shiny.
Our one year old Australian Cattle dog mix, Lucy, became very finicky about eating her adult food after changing from puppy food. We tried a couple if other dry foods, but had to add toppers to all of it until we tried Rachael Ray Dish. Lucy is loving it, and so are we! Thank you, Rachael!
