All three of my furbabies love these kibbles and get so excited for it! Due to age and constant unhealthy stool, I've been feeding them a different brand for years that was agreeable for their tummies but not their appetite. I would encourage them to eat it with veggie and chicken bits, which added on to the expensive cost of that bag of food alone. Due to the unavailability one day, I ended up trying a bag of RR Nutrish Dish for all three of them and they didn't leave a single piece behind! I observed a few days to see how it affected their tummies/ stool and I was relieved to know I made a healthy choice. For extra hydration over the summer I would add in some water and they love it just as much. I'm sticking to this brand!
I’m most of the way through a small bag for my 80lb pitbull and the transition has been great so far. No diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive gas. She seems to really enjoy the food and I like that there’s veggies in there. Her stools are more formed and regular which was previously an issue for her, so it SHOULD help with her glands too. Overall, pretty satisfied and will buy again.
Dolcetto spent many hours dividing his food. He doesn’t like the peas, so called bacon or carrots. He refused to eat it. So I considered he’s right since he is the one to eating it. He’s a pure bred poodle & extremely smart.
I used to buy this food for my spaniel/collie mix. And she used to really enjoy it (besides the peas). I think the peas were too hard after a while. However I noticed a difference in her coat and weight. Her fur began to look really dry and seemed to have dry skin as well. She also started having odor issues. I switched food to see if that was the problem and it seems like it was. I am not sure if it was due to the recipe change or just a dog issue. Stopped buying and wouldn’t recommend.
Our dog is about the pickiest eater I have ever met. She was eating another version of this- the one without all the real dried veggies, but I can't seem to find it regularly. And even that food was only getting about 1/3-1/2 eaten. Our dog seems to like only the larger morsels and leaves the smaller ones and is now leaving all the dried veggies with this version. This doesn't mean that this food isn't good, Its probably fine and she really does gobble down the larger bits. I may have to find yet another food that she will eat more or all of. She will even pass on some table foods and some dog treats.
I've been looking for a grain free dry food my dog will actually like. He's always liked Racheal Ray food so I figured I'd give this food a try. He loves it! He couldn't wait for me to get the bag open and dug right in. He even does the happy dance after every meal.
I have to drive a long way to get this size bag of dog food and half the time they only had smaller bags so I went back to Chewy and set up auto ship so I could get the deal which is always less than anyplace around here, and stop wasting money. I’m so glad Chewy is not only reasonable but consistent, it makes life easier.
My picky lab loves all the different varieties and textures.
Both my dog decided they don’t like Blue Buffalo (mainly the blueberry antioxidant bits) so I decided to try another food. They seem to really like it and it doesn’t mess with my border collie’s system. They really love the steak bits!
I had read some great reviews about dogs liking this food so decided I would try a bag. I took a handful and tried to get my two mini schnauzer to eat it and they walked away. I put some in their food that night and they left every piece behind. Waste of money.
