This was a "forced" purchase. My Normal dog food as the Normal was put of stock and wouldn't be restocked before pups needed more food. I picked this because it has the closest protein % as the old. And the same list of limited ingredients. They've taken to it slowly as I've mixed it in with the old food.

If you need to get a food with few ingredients and a good price look no more! I have been giving this to my dogs for years now and they not only love it the lamb meal is very easy to digest. I didn't need to change food for my senior pup.There is lots of good oils in it also and you can see it on the kibble! Love this food hope they never stop making it.

First, I'm not sure why there are complaints about the smell? It's dog food guys, it's not a great smell period. What matters isn't the smell but the quality of the food. Yeah the stuff smells but I'm not sure I've found anything better. My pit is allergic to a lot of food, which is common for his breed in particular, and this stuff has kept his paws white and he doesn't lick them leading them to get infected. His face and belly aren't red. No GI problems. This stuff could smell like the rotten fish from the trash after my puffer is done eating and it's been in there for 3 days and I'd still buy it because it's been great for my dog's health. Nutrish dog food

Purchased this item when our normal dog food was listed as temp out of stock. Fortunately our dog accepted the new dog food and it had little or no adverse effects on her. The pellets area little larger in size then she is used to eating but has accepted the change. Haven't decided wether to return to her regular dog food or not.

I'm as careful in reading ingredient lists for the dogs (and cats) as I am for myself and Nutrish Lamb & Brown Rice passes our test. My guys don't have any diet limitations, just the need for good food without lots of preservatives. Thanks...great product, fast shipping...will keep my guys going at full speed.

Nasty and stinky

I’ve ordered this flavor three times over the last year, each time thinking it would be different. Every time the bag was oily and actually made the cardboard Chewy box oily. My dogs just picked at it, if that, and the last time two of the three threw up. But, when I contacted Chewy, they were awesome, as always. They credited me for the bags and were even concerned as to if I had needed to take my two dogs to the vet. I love Chewys. Not sure though why they continue to sell that particular flavor.

My golden retriever turned her nose up to it after I had been feeding her the Buffalo blue feed so I guess it’s back to the blue feed we go it is just so expensive good gosh I wish they would lower the price a little but my dad always said you get what you pay for.

Smells good. My dogs like it for a change of flavor, but with this last bag they must have changed their recipe because my 4 yo GSD is now pretty itchy everywhere. And this food is the ONLY thing I've changed.

My Rottie developed allergies to chicken, needed a different protein source combined with few other ingredients. This product fit the bill and must be tasty. Had no problem switching over and doing much better now.
