Like most of the Rachael Ray wet cat food, this one has had its formula changed with zero warning, and this time they didn't even update the product listing. At time of writing, it still lists the old version. We ordered it thinking that we'd gotten lucky and they hadn't changed this one yet. The new formula is watery and our cats do not like it. It's also got 37% fewer calories (69 compared to 109 per cup before). Not only is this blatant false advertisement, this could hurt your cat's health if you aren't being careful.

My cat has been eating the tuna and ocean fish flavors for 9 years. It’s the only food she has ever been willing to eat. Since the rebrand, the recipe is completely different. The new version is all gravy and smells horribly. She won’t even go near it. So disappointed in this change. I have no clue what I am going to do and have 3 cases that are going to go to waste.

Gourmet cat food

Amma is a very traumatized cat that used to live in the wild, she's very picky and she loves it.

I am so disgusted with the way they just completely change something without telling the customers or warning them. My cats have eaten this for years, and it's the only thing their stomach can handle without getting very bad diarrhea. I got my monthly supply from autoship, and there is no longer "Grain Free" on the packages. When I opened it up, it was slimy, watery, and smelled terrible. usually it looks like pieces of fish that I even break up for my cats. Well I tried giving it to them and they wouldn't touch it. I contacted Chewy and they said I was sent the wrong kind and sent me another order.... it's the SAME! So now the search is on for something my poor cats can eat that is sensitive to their needs but that they like to eat. I'm so disappointed. Why did they change the food? Packaging changes - who cares, but you completely changed this food. It is 100% not even close to the same product.

My cat, Macha, was excited to try it when I opened it. I put it in one of her clean dishes. She walked up to it and sniffed it. She then immediately looked up for a beat before locking eyes with me. I watched her walk away. I didn't see her for the rest of the night. I'm still giving this three stars because, you know, cats are gonna cat. But seeing my cat physically turning her nose up at Rachael Ray and walking away in disappointment and irritation is profoundly funny to me. Your cat might like it, though.

There appears to have been a rebranding recently. The last order I received of the Ocean Fish variety had a COMPLETELY different texture, smell, and appearance. It used to be flaked or chunky and now it is extremely watery, soupy, with what looks almost like "tofu chunks" instead of actual fish shreds like it used to. My cats won't even touch it so now I'm out $50 and have to find something new. The new formula is awful
