My 13 year old English Cocker Spaniel, Piper, had to have a couple of teeth pulled and, as a result, needed to eat soft food for a couple of weeks. Normally she eats kibble but I thought I'd give Nutrish Whole Health Blend a try; the ingredients looked good and it sounded like a pretty healthy recipe. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the can--it smelled good to me! It looked like a natural color with flecks of green and orange, reflecting the whole food ingredients. Piper isn't a picky eater so, predictably, she LOVED it but I was very happy that she had no problems at all with her sudden diet change. She didn't have any tummy issues and her stools were normal--A+ for digestibility! I was happy with this food and will feed it again.

Nutrish Real Chicken & Apple Recipe Whole Health Blend Premium Pate is made from real chicken/chicken livers, chicken broth, and you can see a mixture of the apples, carrots, peas, and brown rice throughout the pate'. The canned food looks as good as Princess thinks it tastes! I really appreciate that this Nutrish wet dog food offers my fur baby a healthy, balanced blend of nutrition in every single bite! My dogs loved this. I thought I should start adding a little wet food to their dry food since they just look at their dry food and then don’t eat it. As soon as I added this, they scarfed the whole bowl down, including the dry food. The only thing about this food, which I don’t even know how you would fix this, is that the inside of the cans are not easy to clean. We are big recyclers in our area and it would take way too much effort to clean the inside of the cans in order to recycle them.

One of my dogs was recovering form major surgery and getting him to eat was a chore. I had tried several different things to no avail. Then I tried the Nutrish Whole Blend chicken and finally he gobbled it up. Now he (and my other 3 dogs) get to enjoy it too! I like that it doesn't use chicken by-products and has a balance of vitamins and minerals dogs need. It does look like your typical dog food, but has much better quality ingredients.

Hermione gobbled the food up and did not have any digestive issues. She has been eating these cans mixed with raw 80/10/10 beef and her coat and skin look excellent.

We have been using Nutrish Pate wet dog food Whole Health Blend as a supplement on top of the dry food of our two adult labs. They now won’t eat their dry food until we add the pate to it! They evidently love the flavor of the real chicken and apple recipe, and we love the fact that no artificial flavors or preservatives are used. We are impressed that real chicken is the first ingredient, and with essential nutrients and antioxidants added, we are assured of the healthiness. A wonderful addition to their diet!

Good for backup when I run out of cooked food for my dog. My dog has had one can so far and she tolerated it well and seemed to like the taste. The texture you can see in the photo, appearing to show an assortment of vegetables and I assume apples to mixture. Texture is not dense, somewhat aerated but nevertheless satisfactory to my dog. My dog can be a picky eater and it's too early to say if she would like this regularly but it definitely passed the initial taste test.
