My dog likes the bone ok, she doesn't exactly go crazy for it. I took a look at it today to check for loose pieces and found where she had licked out the filling there are sharp pointy pieces, I'm sure they scrape her tongue while licking it and that's probably why she doesn't bother with it too much.

My dogs love these bones and keep on enjoying them for months. We have a Lab-Pit mix and a mini pit. Our Lab-Pit has a bone collection in their toy box, she gets one out than another and so on. This bone is better than a Kong and side bonus cleans their teeth. I will continue buying this bone for them and recommend it to anyone that has an active chewer in the family.
