I bought this for training “treats” even though it doesn’t say refrigeration was required I stored it in the refrigerator anyway in a freezer bag, within a week

I bought this for training “treats” even though it doesn’t say refrigeration was required I stored it in the refrigerator anyway in a freezer bag, within a week of opening it, it began to grow mold, at first I thought I had somehow gotten flour on it, but by the next day it was completely obvious it was mold, I had to throw it away.

Dangerous Food

This food is toxic. It has Sucrose (sugar) lots of it. 4th ingredient. Been feeding for a year and the Sucrose in it has caused her to become SUCROSE intolerant,

This food is toxic. It has Sucrose (sugar) lots of it. 4th ingredient. Been feeding for a year and the Sucrose in it has caused her to become SUCROSE intolerant, insulin resistant, major weight gain that no matter how much exercise she gets will not come off. As of last week we noticed her not feeling good went from a healthy dog to death ved dog very lethargic and diarrhea, vomiting, bloated, gas, and stomach pain in her intestines. She has been drinking 5 gals of water a day and through out the night. Took her to the vet and our vet read the ingredients and was very unhappy to see Sucrose and its the 4th ingredients meaning it has alot of sugar in it. Now were dealing with major vet bills trying to keep our dog alive. I have to make her homemade dog food now in hopes to get her back on track to being her healthy self again. We contacted Redbard and they seemed not to care but just said yes they use to give it shelf life. Sucrose is deadly for dogs if eaten in large amounts. Well when you feed a large dog this food it becomes in large amounts over time. So plz pet parents DON'T FEED YOUR DOGS THIS FOOD!!! My dog has been laying on her mattress since last week sick and lethargic. This Sucrose has more likely caused my dog to become a diabetic. We are having more bloodwork to have everything checked this coming week. But just know when your vet dr looks at the ingredients in your dogs food cause she went from a bouncing happy healthy dog to looking like shes knocking on deaths door and your vet sees Sucrose as the 4th ingredients when it has no place in any oets food and she seen the red flag and asked how much water does she drink we tell her much more then ever and raises concerns of other issues this food has caused and damaged her. DON'T BUY THIS FOOD.
