This food does not require any preparation. Keep frozen until your pet's mealtime. Bites thaw in minutes and should be cold to the touch when served.

You may add raw as often as you’d like. You don’t have to feed a fully raw diet to reap the raw benefits. In fact, studies show that adding as little as 20% raw can reduce the risk of skin allergies. Many pet parents rotate between raw and kibble-based food or top their pet’s kibble with either frozen or freeze-dried raw. Just remember to be cautious of overfeeding if you are topping a pet’s existing meal with raw.

Nice and fresh

In the past we had gotten it but it used to arrived thawed out and squishy but I’m assuming business processes have changed because now it is fully frozen, fresh

Raw frozen preferred over raw freeze dried

Had a friend babysit my corgi at her home while I was on vacation. Sent her with her normal freeze dried food, and she refused to eat it. My friend ended up feeding

Had a friend babysit my corgi at her home while I was on vacation. Sent her with her normal freeze dried food, and she refused to eat it. My friend ended up feeding my dog what she feeds her diet restricted bulldog - instinct frozen beef. My dog loved it and now I am feeding instinct frozen to her at home. She can hardly wait for it to defrost long enough so she can gobble it up. She does seem to love it.

The best oops!

So when I realized what I had done thinking this was like the freeze dried raw cat food I figured for sure it would arrive ruined in the fl heat. My husband even

So when I realized what I had done thinking this was like the freeze dried raw cat food I figured for sure it would arrive ruined in the fl heat. My husband even forgot to bring it in when it came in but it was well packaged in dry ice and frozen. My dog who’s been super hard to please lately ate it up with some primal goats milk poured over. With it warmed and poured over it only took a few minutes to thaw!

I love instinct, food I think the quality is good and the price is reasonable

I actually mix this with the Maev food and my malamute eats it like I’ve never seen her eat anything before she is very picky and is allergic to chicken so this

I actually mix this with the Maev food and my malamute eats it like I’ve never seen her eat anything before she is very picky and is allergic to chicken so this coupled with the MAEV skin and coat is doing wonders for her. She absolutely loves this combo. I mix it about 50-50 in the bowl and that helps with the cost a littlebit. This is definitely priced better but by itself she gets a little bored the Maev has beef liver and all kinds of different flavor in so the two of them together is perfect

Shipped early

I requested a Saturday ship date so it would not show up until Sunday at the earliest since we were out of town and temperature is in the triple digits, but it showed

I requested a Saturday ship date so it would not show up until Sunday at the earliest since we were out of town and temperature is in the triple digits, but it showed up on the day I requested it to be shipped. I plan to cancel my auto ship because I can't be sure when it will show up. I'm sure the frozen food will be ruined by the time we get back.
