Brittle & Dangerous

Been giving dogs marrow bones for years. Usually buy at grocery store; don’t know brand, tho boy, do they last with very little chipping. I ordered these Red Barn

Been giving dogs marrow bones for years. Usually buy at grocery store; don’t know brand, tho boy, do they last with very little chipping. I ordered these Red Barn bones to gift to dogs (dog trainer/walker) this past holiday, including my own and discovered they were so brittle; dogs who aren’t even “aggressive chewers” starting chipping off large, sharp pieces in minutes. Don’t know what makes one marrow bone tougher than the rest but I’ll never order these again. Sticking to the grocery store bones.

We have been so pleased with Chewy. They carried the feed that the vet recommended. The dog was only a year and chewing whatever he could so the bones I ordered were perfect and all the toys too! Orders arrive quickly and they tell you when they wii be delivered. We also bought leashes and collars which have been excellent. I have told my family and friends about Chewy and they to have been pleased.

I should have bought one bone for each dog rather than buying bulk. I will not do that again. My dogs lick and chew the bone for five minutes and that's pretty much

I should have bought one bone for each dog rather than buying bulk. I will not do that again. My dogs lick and chew the bone for five minutes and that's pretty much it. I have bones all over there play room. I figured if I left them out for a few days they may go back and chew on them, but nope that was definitely not the case. I am going to throw them away and donate the rest to our local shelter.
