What is the weight limit on this? I have seen similar with 20lb limits - and my cat is hefty.

How are the sisal and carpet pads attached to the tree? Velcro?

The carpet or faux fur is attached with hook and loop strips and can be easily removed and cleaned or replaced. The sisal is attached with small screws.

Cats love it!

It was easy to setup. Great quality and looks beautiful. The cats took to it right away and love sleeping on top. I wish it was slightly more sturdy on the open

It was easy to setup. Great quality and looks beautiful. The cats took to it right away and love sleeping on top. I wish it was slightly more sturdy on the open side, I know having another support would take away from the aesthetic, but it would help alleviate some wobble and noise when the cats jump up or down to maneuver. Overall, it's a great choice!

Beautiful but wobbly

It's very pretty and modern looking at our cats are really enjoying it but towards the top it gets super wobbly which makes me very nervous.

The style is a favorite! I bought one of these 12-13 years ago and I STILL have it! I have changed homes several times, tore it down and built it each time. It is still just as sturdy as the day I bought it. All I’ve ever replaced were the carpet pieces due to sun fading as it sits in a southern window. Refined Feline is lasting furniture. I bought the second tree because I took in another cat and I wanted them each to have a place. It’s worth the expense!

I confess -.I got this for free from someone in our former town. Her cats wouldn't use so I picked it up. My cats love it. At least 6 different cats have enjoyed

I confess -.I got this for free from someone in our former town. Her cats wouldn't use so I picked it up. My cats love it. At least 6 different cats have enjoyed this in the last 8 years!!!! I told my husband THIS MORNING, I would love to find this piece as the ones I have are all looking ratty but this still looks great. I may have to buy another. Yes, procey. But still looks great. Highly recommend.

Very pricey for a defective product

The photos tell the story. The holes for one side of the box that attaches to the base are drilled in the wrong spot. For a $400 item, this is unacceptable. Chewy's

The photos tell the story. The holes for one side of the box that attaches to the base are drilled in the wrong spot. For a $400 item, this is unacceptable. Chewy's offered solution was to have us return this unwieldy item as they are not able to send a replacement part for the defective piece. They offered to send a replacement but could not guarantee it wouldn't have the same issue. So, would I recommend this item? Nope.
