The weather changes outside can cause premature damage to the cot. While it can be used outside, we would not recommend storing the cot outside.

Is the cover removable? Do they sell a replacement cover?

Dogs, toddlers, same needs

This cot is actually marketed for toddlers 2-5 years old or up to 75lbs. It makes for a pretty great dog bed though. Its spacious, easy to wipe clean, and it's foldable

This cot is actually marketed for toddlers 2-5 years old or up to 75lbs. It makes for a pretty great dog bed though. Its spacious, easy to wipe clean, and it's foldable with one hand. I use this outside on the porch where both my Miniature Poodle and Maltese can share in its comfort. They can jump on it with ease and don't slip around or affect the material with their claws, so it is quite sturdy. I've been using it consistently for two months now and its great, I love it more than my other dog centric cots that cannot fold the same way. I have just about every style of cot and this is the best I would absolutely take this with me when traveling. The only thing it's missing is a carrying case or sleeve.
