I have a 36” opening will this gate work does the tension knobs extend for the extra inch?

This safety gate is adjustable to accommodate openings from 29 to 35 inches wide.

Can you verify the the maximum width for openings. You are mentioning up to 35" for width of opening. Another website says Expands to fit openings between 29-37 inches · Stands 37 inches tall for the same model. Thank you.

Nice Easy Install Dog Gate

This is a nice, easy to install dog gate for our fairly mellow border collie. The latch is intuitive and easy to use. I appreciate that the gate swings both ways

This is a nice, easy to install dog gate for our fairly mellow border collie. The latch is intuitive and easy to use. I appreciate that the gate swings both ways. Installation instructions were clear. You barely need instructions, but read before you start! I’m relying on pressure to keep it in place, but you’ll want to use the included extra hardware if your dog might push or partner might lean on the gate. NOTE: floor to center of arch 37.75”. Floor to top of pressure adjustment knob on either side is 36.5”. I was hoping the gate would fit below the door knob, but a tiny bit too high. I found a work around too difficult to explain. This gate was definitely the right choice. I’m planning to buy another soon.

Nice tall gate

It was easy to put together and the dog cannot jump over it since it is nice and tall. I took away one star because the HUGE stickers are very hard to remove

Wrong parts

Could not put together either included screws as they were wrong size. Will need t o contact customer service for return process.

Do not skip screwing in the wall holders!! Seriously will keep you from having to adjust the gate multiple times a week.
