Can cats get through the bars?

With gate slats about 2 ½ inches apart, small cats may be able to slide between them. The gate is a little over 3 feet high and it is possible they could jump over it.

Way too easy to knock down

I have a 40 lb Dutch Shepherd puppy he was able to knock this down pretty easily and I had it pretty tight such that the walls that it was up against were slightly

Didn't fit our 39" hallway

The gate advertises it fits openings 29"-49" wide, but did not work for our 39" wide hallways. The small spacer maxed out the adjustment screws and made for a loose

The gate does not fit the opening between rooms. It's marked as fitting an opening up to 49 inches. Our doorway is 41 inches. The 12-inch extension in the box makes
