What is the phosphorus on a dry matter basis?

Reveal's recipes are made with high quality premium meat, so phosphorus will be naturally occurring, and the levels will vary from batch to batch. Due to this, they unfortunately cannot provide the levels within their product range.

Do not feed this to your cats

Both of my cats became violently ill within 20 minutes of consuming this food. They had nonstop vomiting for about 30 minutes and are still gagging and struggling

Both of my cats became violently ill within 20 minutes of consuming this food. They had nonstop vomiting for about 30 minutes and are still gagging and struggling to get comfortable after several hours. I gave them each approximately a tablespoon of this food mixed with water. I've bought this brand before, but not this formulation, and had no issues. There are reports of similar things happening to other pets on Reddit, etc.

My cat, although she eats both chunky and pate wet food, generally prefers pate. This food is pate-style. It has a soft and smooth texture that my cat really enjoyed. The can size is just perfect! Not too big or too small- very convenient for single servings, even though my cat never finishes her plate in one go. She leaves some behind but always comes back to eat the rest. One thing I really like is the nice scent when I open the can. It smells mild and appetizing, unlike some other wet foods that overwhelms the entire kitchen with a heavy, unpleasant odor. Even this feature alone deserves a 5-star rating for me! My cat is quite picky, yet she didn’t refuse this food. She enjoyed it. I’ll definitely buy more and add this brand into her regular rotation. Highly recommend!

Don't risk it

I've given my cats the original reveal food in the past and had no issues, but tonight I gave them the new "entrees" pate in the pink can and ended up in the emergency

I've given my cats the original reveal food in the past and had no issues, but tonight I gave them the new "entrees" pate in the pink can and ended up in the emergency vet after my cat started retching and hyper salivating. I started googling the food since it is not in their regular rotation and now I see there are a significant number of reviews across different retailers saying it made their cats violently ill, so I guess this is one more. $250 vet bill later and I'm never buying anything from this brand again.

Reveal Entree Tuna Filet with Salem Pate Recipe Grain-Free Wet Cat Food started off as a hit with two of my four cats. BooBerry, my 10 year old cat who prefers shredded wet cat food, ate most of it at first but after a few days she left her dish full of food. Peanut, my 20 year old old lady, ate a small amount of the food daily but never finished her full dish. The other two cats are very picky and left their dishes full each time Reveal was given to them. None of the cats have been fed grain free food before so that may have been a reason for them not eating it Regarding the food itself, the quality seemed good. It had a texture similar to tuna fish once the pate was broken up with a fork. It did have a stronger smell to it compared to other wet cat foods.

This food is so nice! I love the soft pate texture and how moist it is! My girl just got a dental cleaning so I needed food that would be soft enough for her poor shredded gums and she had NO problem eating this! It’s also essential for cats to get as much water in their system as possible and with how moist this food is I know she’s getting that extra fluid. It also smells authentic! I got the tuna fillet and it smelled like I was opening up a can of tuna! Love that it’s the FIRST ingredient too!

Smells very good I thought my cat would love it, but there doesn’t seem to be enough broth in the pate. It is a much drier pate. Unfortunately, my cat ate about half of it one time and didn’t finish it and won’t eat anymore. He is used to a chunkier Texture cat food with more fluid in it. I believe it is a good quality food product for cats and as I recall from pricing it in the pet stores very reasonably priced soft cat food. My cat just doesn’t like the pate type of food.

However, they eat so fast that it sometimes leads to them throwing up shortly after finishing. If your cat tends to gulp down food too quickly, consider using a slow feeder to help mitigate this issue. Otherwise, if taste is your priority, this product definitely scores high!

My orange female 6 yo cat can be finicky about wet foods. She usually prefers pate consistency and seafood flavors. The Reveal entrees pate food tuna salmon flavor fit the bill. The first time I fed it to her she chowed down and cleaned her bowl. After that she would only give it a sniff and did not eat more than a bite or so. Did not seem to love the flavor.
