Both my kitties are old and arthritic, stiff when they get up and when it's cold, just generally showing their ages - 17 and 18. About 4 weeks or so after I began giving them Cosequin every night, both of them were very obviously more comfortable. They move around more easily, don't seem so stiff, and seem happier in general. I wish I would have started giving this to them a long time ago. I give them each a half of a Lil Soup and mix the Cosequin in it, and they love it.

My 13 year old has been on the regular cosequin for 1 year with no issues. As soon as I changed her over to the senior cosequin she threw up her meal. The senior pills have more powder in them and maybe I didn’t add enough wet food to absorb both capsules but I think we will stick with the original pink bottle.

The ingredients in Nutramax for senior cats are intended to reduce joint inflammation and pain . These ingredients are in human supplements also for joint discomfort. I have benefited from them and thought I would try this product on my 17 + year old male cat. Turner was a stray who showed up in the woods. He was estimated by a vet to be over 5 years old. I have had him for 12 years, so he is at least 17. He had been limping. One of the vets recommended a Shot now available for arthritis in cats. I was told it interferes with the cat brain perception of pain, but does nothing for the joint. This did not seem to be the most beneficial for the health of the cat. Instead, I ordered the Cosequin product. During the second week, Turner stopped limping. He also has FIV and has never been a high energy cat.

Cosequin Joint Health improved my cats stride

He is 16 and he clearly had stiffness in his joints. Careful stair climbs now have bounce to them. Chairs that were a tough jump look much easier. I'm glad that

OMG, my cat is moving around soooo much better (and even jumping again!), and I can't believe how quickly it worked. Fantastic product!!!

Liquid form would be better for giving to cats. She wouldn't even lap up the, lactose free, milk she loves and wouldn't eat moist food she usually eats after the "sprinkles". Probably would work with less picky cats, but not my little princess.

Peach wouldn’t eat her food that included the medicine. I had been giving her regular Cosequin and it was tricky enough getting her to eat food with it included but senior Cosequin has about 3x as much per dose. Can’t hide the taste in her food.
