Sturdy and Well Made

I LOVE this carrier and my cat does too. I have been searching for a sturdy carrier with high sides, that can be thoroughly cleaned after use. I have a big kitty

I LOVE this carrier and my cat does too. I have been searching for a sturdy carrier with high sides, that can be thoroughly cleaned after use. I have a big kitty (18 lbs) who is a very nervous senior cat and she pees almost every trip to the vet. This carrier is perfect for our needs as I can line with pee pads, the higher sides keeps her from peeing over the pad into my car and I can clean following use, as needed.

This is the best carrier made in my opinion. I bought one a year ago and loved it, so got another so I no longer have to use my soft folding carrier anymore. This carrier snaps together easily and unsnaps easily for storage. It is safe and doesn’t have rough metal edges that your pet can hurt themselves on.

Purchased the medium for my cat who is 13 lbs. Overall it is sturdy, easy to assemble, I don't foresee issues with the product falling apart per se. However, I would say if your pet is over 12 lbs and you will truly be handcarrying, maybe look at a different product. The corners started to pull apart and gape so she was really the upper upper limit of the weight I would say. I mostly use to and from the vet, so it wasn't an issue overall

My review details putting the carrier together only. I haven't tried it out yet. This item is all snap together parts. In the box: top, bottom, door and 4 latches. It's easy to assemble. It's entirely plastic. I bought this to carry rescue cats, but the instructions say the carrier is not for angry cats. Since that's all I have, I'm concerned. I'll edit this review when I know how it holds up.

The carrier was made of lighter weight material than I had expected. The clip the seat bet goes through is not very snug and doesn't seem heavy enough to stand up

The carrier was made of lighter weight material than I had expected. The clip the seat bet goes through is not very snug and doesn't seem heavy enough to stand up under much pressure. The works for my 12lb. cat but would feel a little flimsy for a 17 lb. cat.
