Listen. This may be a great item. I won't know. Because my husband and I are first time dog owners with an 8 year old dachsund we inherited. Button likes to lick -- no-- LOVES to lick people non stop when they come in. I thought I'd buy this small lick mat to test out a distraction technique on him when people come to visit. I got the package. Opened it. Rinsed it off. Put a little peanut butter on it and gave it to Button. He licked the peanut butter off happily. Then he took the mat around the corner and out of sight and I thought, how cute. I followed up to check on him when he didn't return after 10 minutes and he had chewed the mat to pieces. To be fair, the instruction do say DO NOT LEAVE WITH YOUR PET UNATTENDED. So. Sigh. Lesson learned.

I never thought that my cocker spaniel would submit so easily to the indignity of a bath in the tub! With the Rinse Ace lick pad, we can go about the business of bathing our pet while she is totally engrossed in licking the peanut butter off the suction pad. The suction could be a little better, and wetting the little cups seems to help.

Didn’t stick

Wouldn’t stick to my fridge for anything. Suction cups don’t work very well. Even suctioning them to the floor they didn’t stay.

Solid deal for small puppy

Not the best quality. Suction cups started deteriorating after a few uses.

Suction is good

Works well but is smaller than expected, and the grooves are not very deep, which makes the lick Matt not very challenging.

Great for peanut butter

Smear some peanut butter on there and slap it on the wall of the tub! Easy peasy and super effective. !!I don’t recommend this as a lick mat to mentally tire a dog

Smear some peanut butter on there and slap it on the wall of the tub! Easy peasy and super effective. !!I don’t recommend this as a lick mat to mentally tire a dog out, the ridges are just too small to hold anything other than peanut butter or super sticky stuff (if you freeze it that might work but if you put that on the side of the tub it’s just going to melt and not last very long). Definitely helps with bath time!
