This mat is surprisingly wee, without sufficient surface area to keep a big dog occupied for long. I'll be looking for another mat in the 12" x 12 range. Given that the mat is so small, would be great if the description included dimensions up front, instead of having to read reviews or the comparison table. Would not buy again.
It’s the size of my dogs paw. I looked up a lick mat for a large dog and this is what came up… if your dog is a massif mix don’t get this one
The suction cups didn't stay affixed during bathing. It was more trouble than it is worth.
The suction cups don't work on my door or walls. Maybe they do in a tub. This is useless unless I glue it to the wall.
My 20lb American Eskimo loves this! I put some peanut butter on it and stick it to my mini fridge. This toy is a bit shallow so I don't think you could freeze much to it. But none the less it's a great activity
The suction cups on this are great, but the little bones are way too shallow. My pup finishes this way quicker than any of his other lickimats. Not horrible but there are better options out there.
I bought this for our puppy and was disappointed in the size. Much smaller than I envisioned. The little bones inside are very shallow, and it doesn't want to stick to the bottom of his wire crate, so I got a cookie sheet and it doesn't stay stuck to that either. Suction cups seem kind of worthless. Maybe they work on a bathtub, IDK.
I got this off of a recommendation from another puppy momma. It has been a great way to keep our Labrador puppy busy. I typically freeze whatever we put on it to keep her occupied such as yogurt, peanut butter, and even banana! I also like the suction so we can stick it to the bottom of her crate so she doesn’t play with it after!
As advertised! Excellent! Makes grooming very easy!
I do suggest attaching it to a plate with the suction cup on the back.
