So far, so good. I've tried many for my small breed dogs who can't hold it in. These work much better than Simple Solutions or paw pads. Believe me, I think we've tried them all.
I ordered several of these for my 4 month old Yorkshire Terrier. He pretty much goes on them most of the time. I love the fact that he doesn't track anything, but the only thing is I can hardly see where he did his thing. I guess that's a good thing which means that these pads are highly absorbable. I have washed them after a few days and they have held up well. I let them air dry.
The pads are the answer to my problems with 5 inside dogs and constantly picking up training pads with pee underneath. I use these pads with disposable puppy pads on top. No more pee on the floor or moping, yay! They wash and dry perfectly.
The supposedly "waterproof" backing lets liquid soak right through. It delays it, which is better than a bare floor, I guess. But every single time, if we don't catch it right away, it soaks all the way through. Quite disappointed in these.
More durable than the larger one however it is difficult to get clean and inconvenient drying process.
Absolutely not waterproof. If your dog pees more than a tablespoon it goes straight through to the floor. I use disposable pads under.
I have a 70 # lab with diabetes insipidus which means she doesn't have the hormone that allows her to concentrate urine. This also means she drinks gallons (2?) of water a day and pees out very nearly the same volume. These pads have been the best I have tried, and despite the cloth backing have been the best at keeping the floor under the pads dry.
These are hands down the most durable, washable pads we have ever used.
Our second purchase. I use these on furniture as cushion covers. Wash up well and and are well made. Helps keep spills ect off the couch and chairs. I don't use them on the floor. Just seems icky to me especially since we have a bunch of dogs and I don't want them to learn to potty on fabric.
It does absorb very well. Found no leakage when I removed it. The downside is that after washing and light drying, a good twelve inches is gone. But, it holds up and there’s no ripoafe or tears.
