Need a Replacement Pan?
Revamp your iCrate Dog Crate with the Midwest iCrate Dog Crate Replacement Pan!
I have been using MidWest crates for over 20 years, and they have been great. This new crate is fine except the pan has a raised rectangular stamp on it. It is peeling up too easily from cleaning, and I think it is not safe for puppies that are chewers. I contacted customer service, and I was told this is a stamp from their new plates. They offered no solution. I think it is a defect, and I feel it is not safe. Their old crate pans were flat with nothing raised. I have 4 older crates from them. I will not buy anymore from this company. There are good alternatives out there.
I have a corgi--long and low. We had a wire kennel 24 inches long, and she loves her little bedroom--but she was cramped in that space. This being 30 inches allows her just the right room to stretch or tuck, but did not increase the height where we have the kennel in the corner of the bedroom. Everyone's happy--good product, and she gets a cookie when she goes to bed.
This is not for a puppy as I put my 9week old bullmastiff in and she got her mouth stuck between the bar and has to have surgery to remove a major tooth!!!! Thank god she didn’t break her jaw! Thanks to this cage.. which was advertised for a puppy to grows …I now have hundreds of dollars in vet bills and worst of all my poor 9week old puppy is now terrified .,hurt and has to have surgery!!!
Crate comes with a divider to section off for training when your dog is a puppy. The divider bottom, when connected, does lay flush with the crate bottom. My puppy got his leg caught underneath the divider and really hurt himself! I had to pry his little leg out.
I have a ten month old puppy. She has used this crate her entire 8 months with me. She can now scoot the tray out from underneath her and poop under the bed. It is ridiculous and shouldn’t be possible. It unclips when she moves
Needed for 7 lb Chihuahua, survivor of a puppy-mill (Breeder), who will never be housebroken. Had Huge crate, and decided she needed smaller one for her comfort. Enough room for peewee pad, and for her to sit off it. Chewy agent spent a lot of time with me on phone, and helped me get the right crate.
This is a well made crate. I bought this for our puppy who quickly sized out of her original crate. She has tried like hell to get the latches open and has not figured it out yet, but those of you that have Houdini dogs you made need a crate with a paw guard. I liked that it came with a separator so I could make the length a little smaller for her and as she grows I’ll take it out.
We purchased this to keep our 84lb. labrador in after TPLO surgery. It is big but perfect for him to be able to stand up in and turn around. It has a wire panel to make it smaller if need be so in the future if we have a puppy or smaller dog we can still use it and make the space smaller. Benny goes in sometimes on his own now even though he's completely healed after 9 weeks post surgery. Praise God!
This is a well made crate. It's easy to set up and take down. I have a 36" for my female golden, which seemed a little small for my male. I ordered the 42" and it's huge! Both pups moved in immediately when I set it up. I had a hard time getting them out to fold it back down. No question, a full grown 85lb male golden has plenty of room.
My puppy has got so big in his 4 months and this was the perfect crate he loves it
