My pup is a super picky eater with allergies to chicken, turkey. I try to keep him on a limited ingredient diet-so sensitive. He’s not very food motivated. He’s been on some medications that he needs to eat prior, or he’ll get an upset tummy. I have been cooking extra lean ground beef with veggies, squash, and adding in a bit of his kibble. When these Rockster canned foods were offered for review, I jumped at the chance. Quick take? He LOVES the Boeuf Du Cap! It’s made with superfoods/prebiotics like quinoa (you can kind of see in the pic), spirulina, salmon oil, pumpkin (which he loves also), human grade beef. To ease it into his diet I added about 3oz of this pate type wet food (12oz cans) to his regular kibble with a little bit of water. The Rockster food is a bit “dryer” than expected, takes a bit of effort to break it down some to mix better. I don't mind that at all, the consistency and scent is not horrible for me to deal with. Im not generally a fan of most wet canned dog/cat foods, but I dont find the smell or consistency offensive in any way. Pricing could be a deterrent, but mixing it with kibble would be a bit more cost effective. The recommended serving is 24oz daily for a medium sized dog.

My dog LOVES Rockster! I've got a 10 month old Golden Retriever who is a VERY picky eater. It been a struggle to get her to finish her meals even though she's getting a top quality kibble with freshly cooked ground turkey at each sitting. Even when we've added people food to her meals, she'll just pick through and eat only the things she feels like eating. As soon as I added Rockster to her kibbles she gobbled it up! Every meal since then, she's finished down to the last drop; and, that's just feeding her kibble and Rockster without having to cook meat or add scraps. The ingredients in this food are impressive. It's also very dense, so a little goes a long way. At first, I felt the price might be too prohibitive; however after using this food for over a week now, I'm convinced that it's worth every penny. I highly recommend this super food for your dog. Nutritionally speaking, I think it may be on par with the fresh food brands. It's just that good.

When I opened the can, there were small white specks in the food, and I thought something might be wrong. However, the food smelled fine, and I opened another can just to make sure. Seems that the white specks are just part of the formulation. Dogs enjoying the food, and improved poops are a bonus!

I was very cautious about this one because my dogs are on prescription food & even the wet version of that upsets my boxers stomach and can cause pancreatitis. That being said, this food is a godsend. She has had no upset stomach no diarrhea all organic ingredients no meat by products. Yes, it's a little pricey, but I will absolutely be buying only this in the future!!!!

Rockster wet dogfood is great! Finally a canned dog food that my dog loves the taste x smell. I have no problem getting her to eat this food and it’s made with such good ingredients. I feed her kibble, but I stir this in as well, with just a little warm water and she licked the bowl clean. All the ingredients are healthy for your dog. My picky eater loves it. So glad I got this food.
