We started this product when our 11.5 year old lab/pyrenees mix was in a bad arthritis flare up. She was barely able to walk and we had to assist with a towel in standing her up. The vet recommended rest and gave tramadol for 2 weeks. The only other thing we changed was adding this supplement and WOW... about 10 days later we started to see improvement and in 3 weeks she was BETTER THAN BEFORE THE FLARE UP. People who haven't seen the dog in a few weeks see her and comment how it looks like she's shaved 3 years off of her age she's moving SO well, has more energy, is no longer stiff after laying and gets up without trouble. The shaking legs from arthritis is also very much improved. We are SO SO impressed with this product!

I have an eight year old active German Shepherd Dog. She is non-stop all day throughout two acres of land chasing and catching squirrels, playing with my goat, in addition to following me wherever I go. I decided to supplement her food with these easy to administer collagen and L-Carnatine capsules. I really like the fact that I am able to simply drop the capsule right into her food daily. No fuss, no mess. I also like this supplement is all natural and have no artificial colors or additives. One bottle will last the entire month which is a plus since most supplements last less than a month when used on large breeds. Even though I did not notice much of a difference in my dog’s mobility, I know they are of no harm to her. It is possible that she may have had to have taken them for an extended period of time for her to have benefitted from them fully.

Our vet switch us to Rooted Owl for our three aging dogs, two that have initial to moderate hip dysplasia, it surprised us that none of them had issues taking the pills with the food as we had challenges in the past but because its only one pill a day it was never a problem. We specifically requested this product for our older dog Blair, who, like many dogs, suffers from joint and muscle issues in the hind legs. We received the product

We specifically requested this product for our older dog Blair, who, like many dogs, suffers from joint and muscle issues in the hind legs. We received the product only a couple of days before Christmas, and have been gone a couple of weeks on vacation, but have been giving her a daily capsule for several days now. Obviously, I wish Blair could communicate her distress to us, but we have observed her closely for any signs of improvement. It is our belief that this product has somewhat helped her in that she seems to be more mobile since we started using it. Her symptoms seem to be worse in the morning as she tries to get her muscles and joints working, and it appears that she is doing better with mobility. So our review is subjective in nature, but I do plan on continuting the supplement in the future.
