Answer by ChewyAug 25, 2020
Manufacturers establish “best by” dates to ensure the safety of your dog. Look for the expiration date on the bottom of your dog’s food bag or cans, and plan to use up the food before that date. Every expiration date will be different for each bag, as different batches are constantly being produced.

My Cocker Spaniel was having trouble with her outdoor daily duties. She was straining way too much and her stools were bloody. I researched and found this to be the best. She is completely fine now and I am very thankful. People talk about it having an odor but my dog doesn’t care and I’m not the one eating it.

Dogs seem to like it, but

Dogs seem to like it. But it is an extremely hard kibble. They really have to work at it to get it chewed up. I add water to soften, but thats not something I want

Saw a positive difference!

When we used fed our cocker the Royal Canin Adult Dog Food (not breed specific) she seemed to have constant digestive issues ... soft stools, frequent pooping, etc

When we used fed our cocker the Royal Canin Adult Dog Food (not breed specific) she seemed to have constant digestive issues ... soft stools, frequent pooping, etc. All that ended when we switched to the Cocker Spaniel Adult Dog. We're all thrilled. It really made a difference in our sweet Betsy. .

I have used Royal Canin for years. When my new little girl turned 14 months, I purchased Royal Canin for Cockers. The food was too hard and she couldn't chew it
