Transition Instructions
We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

We select our ingredients based on multiple factors, including the supplier’s compliance with our quality and food safety requirements, consistent availability, and on the nutrients required to meet the dietary needs of the pet.Royal Canin is making strides towards sustainability by attempting to obtain sources of raw materials as close to each manufacturing facility as possible. In some cases, we use international suppliers, because only those suppliers can offer raw materials that comply with our quality and food safety standards.
Why do some Royal Canin diets contain by-products?

Our Quality and Food Safety systems are state-of-the-art and we continue to invest heavily in new technology to make sure they remain that way. We put our suppliers through a rigorous selection process that doesn’t end with our first purchase. We monitor every load delivered to our plants to verify the safety and quality of the ingredients we use to make pet food. We perform tests on finished pet foods before they are shipped to our customers. We manufacture every pet food we sell, in plants that we own; our plants are ISO 9001:2008 certified for Quality Management and ISO 22000 certified for Food Safety.

Stella, our mini golden doodle is lukewarm on it. She's even changed her eating schedule. We were using Venture Pollack and sweet potato before and she consistently ate it. Our vet recommended Royal Canine instead because it is not grain free and has strict quality control. Verdict is still out!

Poodle Adult Royal Canin
She is growing and it is time to switch from puppy food to adult food.
I was worried about the change, but so far, she seems to like it.

Gobbled Up Every Morsel
My dog loves this dog food. She is a Golden Doodle and she was not expressing an interest in her food consistently. She has been eating Royal Canin for a month now and she literally eats every tiny morsel, her bowl is left completely empty every time. I got her the Poodle variety, you should try this it is worth the price not to have waste, and to know your dog enjoys their food.

Elderly dog adapts
I changed to this dry food from a store-bought brand when my elderly cock-a-poo started having problems with yeast in her ears. I did not know there was food specifically for poodle breeds. Her coat is always a problem also. I was worried that she would not like the food. She loves it an is doing well for a 14 year old. .

Shady loves it
I followed the puppy kibble with this at 10 months. She loves it and gobbled it up as quickly as she did the puppy kibble.
Not sure if it’s exactly the same mixture except for size of kibble.

Biscuit Approved!
Our F1b Goldendoodle went through a food aversion stage where she wouldn't eat any food. After trying all kinds of high end, boutique, grain-free diets, I talked with our Vet. She recommended Royal Canin Poodle as it is a good quality food, and has all the nutrients that Poodles need. We transitioned Biscuit to Royal Canin, and we have a happy dog! Also nice to have our AutoShip order delivered based on our needs (every 2 weeks) . My only issue is, that I wish they offered bigger bags.
