Love your senior cat with the Royal Canin Indoor 7+ Dry Cat Food. Cats that live exclusively indoors have a less active lifestyle, which can lead to obesity. Additionally, they are sheltered from temperature and daylight variations, which disrupts the seasonal cycle of fur growth and increases shedding. This formula is designed to manage all this while promoting vitality at the first signs of aging, allowing your indoor cat to thrive. Based on 40 years of science and observation, Royal Canin supports the health of your cat by providing him with precise nutrition and a true understanding of his specific needs.
Key Benefits- Designed to help cats face the first signs of aging and promotes vitality.
- Contains a precise balance of vitamins and minerals including vitamin C, EPA and DHA.
- L.I.P. digestive science innovation uses protein selected for its high digestibility, which helps reduce stool odor.
- Adapted phosphorous levels help to support renal function, as kidney decline is common in senior cats.
- Square, soft kibble is easily broken in the cat’s mouth to help protect sensitive teeth and gums.

We recommend at least a 7-day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

Cat Likes It But I Am SO Confused About Quality Of Royal Canin
By cellogirl on Jan 31, 2021
I just want to go on the record and say that I am endlessly confused about what I should actually feed my cats! Royal Canin is sold at all the vet offices, yet so many reviews describe it as junk. On the other hand, I fed my cats the highest end grain free high protein food and ended up at the emergency vet with 2 of them b/c of bladder crystals. Now I am hearing that some vets say grain free is no good anymore...IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!! My 8 year old cat likes this food, but I hate feeling like I am feeding him high end junk. On the other hand, I know that the kidneys can be taxed by super high levels of protein as they get older. I guess I will keep feeding this and maybe mix it with a higher I just want to go on the record and say that I am endlessly confused about what I should actually feed my cats! I just don't understand the extremes of this food simultaneously being described as the best and the worst thing in the world!!! … more

Good benefits, low protein
By Jenny on Jan 1, 2021
I started feeding this to my 8yo girl after I noticed her starting to slow down. After about a week, I noticed she was consistently throwing up at least one serving a day. That’s when I took at look at the ingredients. My girls are used to eating high protein and grain free foods. The first ingredient in this is corn! I’ve started mixing this food with Instinct brand kibble and it’s helping my 8yo keep down this stuff. I love the benefits of this food, especially the kidney support but I wish it had high quality ingredients.

Senior Cat Approved
By johabecker on Jan 12, 2021
Two senior - 7 & 10 - cats have given this food their seal of approval after cycling through multiple other kibbles. Additionally, there is a noticeable difference in their waste (nicer to deal with!), fur (less shedding and shinier), and activity level (a bit more pep in their step). This is being fed along with 3 oz. of wet food per day for each cat.

Pretty satisfied
By Lina on Sep 18, 2020
I have three cats, all three cats eat the food, two cats are doing very well and love it, although 1 cat eats it but the food comes back up. The bags can be ordered in smaller bags, i love to purchase larger bags, but no options for larger bags.

Transition Food that fits well
By Phillip on Jul 24, 2020
We were stressing the transition to a "normal consumer label" for our now senior feline who had been sharing Royal Canin Veterinary & Select Protein Grades her whole life. She's chosen to "really like" Indoor 7+. Big thanks to the dietary consulting team at Royal Canin and to the Service Team at Chewy for handling logistics during these difficult times.

Very satisfied with this cat food!
By alexis on Jul 12, 2020
My Siamese cat was eating blue buffalo but after what I heard about that company and how its harmful to animals by my sister who works for banfield in petsmart, she gave me the advice to go ahead and switch to royal Canin. I decided to switch her to the 7+ formula since my siamese just turned 7 and she loves it. I noticed she feels a lot letter and has kept a very healthy weight and coat. Thank you Royal Canin for keeping my baby healthy! <3

My kittehs LOVE Royal Canin
By HerbieJ on Feb 26, 2020
My kittehs love Royal Canin. They have the softest coats and maintain a healthy weight with it. The vets can't believe how soft they are. Thank you chewy and royal canin.
