Perfect for my rottie
By Monkey on Oct 24, 2020
I was worried my rottie was too small when we first got him and even the vet said he was small for a rottweiler so I did some research and found this food. He sprung up after switching to this one and is still growing!

My vet recommended this brand of dog food because I wanted the best for my pup! I feel like she's getting all the nutrition she needs. It also helped with her gassey issues!

Dogs tastes buds loved it
By Adrian on Jul 5, 2020
Tried 2 other brands and even began home cooking her food. She would pick at her food but never devour it. Began home cooking meals and she went to town. A buddy told me of this brand and we will not switch again. She loves this food and we’ve noticed a significant change in energy.

#1 Food Choice
By 1234 on Feb 2, 2020
I started my Rottie off with this food and then switched him off. I noticed that when he was eating the other brand he had really bad gas and wasn’t filling out much. Once I switched him back to this food, I noticed a big difference, for the better! I’m definitely sticking to this food!!

He loves it!
By TarosMommy on Sep 12, 2019
I honestly have heard good reviews from this brand. Got my first Rottweiler puppy August 17th because I fell in love with a Rottweiler I had watch and he was on this kibble and he looked great! Not only was he a big boy but he was the perfect weight, shiny, clean teeth, and just healthy and happy over all. I am glad I picked this brand for my pup and I hope others do as well!

works great but too high of fat content
By belle on Apr 18, 2019
My Rottweiler pup is a picky eater and I really needed to find him a food that followed WSAVA(world small animal vet association) guidelines ever since the FDA study was published about the potential of “under-researched” harming dogs(especially cardiac issues). I went with Royal Canin and the Rottweiler puppy food helped his appetite increase, stools firm up perfectly, really soft and shiny coat, and it most importantly made his growth consistent. BUT the downfall was, was that it made him a bit too jiggly. And this is an active puppy, we do routine workouts everyday(5 minutes per month old) with a lot of resistance work for muscle development, and he still held onto a big jiggly pouch under My Rottweiler pup is a picky eater and I really needed to find him a food that followed WSAVA(world small animal vet association) guidelines ever since the FDA study was published about the potential of “under-researched” harming dogs(especially cardiac issues). I went with Royal Canin and the Rottweiler puppy food helped his appetite increase, stools firm up perfectly, really soft and shiny coat, and it most importantly made his growth consistent. BUT the downfall was, was that it made him a bit too jiggly. And this is an active puppy, we do routine workouts everyday(5 minutes per month old) with a lot of resistance work for muscle development, and he still held onto a big jiggly pouch under his chest that he held onto even when his growth slowed at 8 months old(which is normal to grow slower at that age). My vet thought that 18% fat might be too high since the pouch stayed so consistent through every growth spurt. Rottweilers need to be kept lean most of their lives, and 18% fat seems way too high for at least right now in his life. When he’s older and can be more active safely on his joints, 18% might be just fine, but at this current life stage, I don’t want to make my rottie fat and give him potential micro-malnourishment by cutting back his food. So for some it might be a 5-star food, but for me it’s a solid 3.5-4 stars because of simply how fatty it is for my dog personally. Even Royal Canin’s rottweiler adult food has lower protein but still a higher level of fat. I’m at a loss to what to feed him between 8.5 moths and 12 months. At a year I plan to move to Eukanuba Rottweiler adult and just supplement glucosamine, it has slightly higher protein but less fat, giving better room for muscle growth and keeping him lean. He is a working protection dog and I need to keep him fit and maintain good stamina since he’s so large for his age(105lbs at 8.5 months), and I feel like if I kept him on Royal Canin Rottweiler Puppy, he would have fat just accumulate on him. Many people like big, heavy, almost tubby Rottweilers, but for me, I’m not interested in that for my dog. … more
