To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's length, chest girth (circumference) and neck girth (circumference). To measure the length you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the chest girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the chest behind the front legs and to measure for the neck girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the neck. If the dog happens to be in between sizes it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

Cheaply made costume

We bought 2 of these costumes for our dogs, one L and one XL. The material is paper thin, the XL barely fit around our dog that wears a M harness, and neither costume

We bought 2 of these costumes for our dogs, one L and one XL. The material is paper thin, the XL barely fit around our dog that wears a M harness, and neither costume fit our German Shepherd who normally wears a L harness. I will not be buying costumes from this manufacturer again.

Ok but size misleading. Large not actually large.

I went according to guidelines, but costume would not fit around body. Length was good. My husband had to add additional lenght to velcro straps to fit . It was

The costume is ok

The costume looked good on my cat. But if you have a cat, the stomach pouch area might have some space to fill up, it fits my cat but was loose in stomach area

The costume looked good on my cat. But if you have a cat, the stomach pouch area might have some space to fill up, it fits my cat but was loose in stomach area. The backpack I don’t like, the straps were horrible, the straps were bigger than my cat. And he would step on them,every time he walked. The Velcro was on the bottom of the straps and was confused to connect.

Who ya gonna call?!

It looked like it would be way too big, but after trying it on it is just roomy for my 6.5lb chihuahua shihtzu mix. The proton pack is a little bit big in the straps

It looked like it would be way too big, but after trying it on it is just roomy for my 6.5lb chihuahua shihtzu mix. The proton pack is a little bit big in the straps but I can cut them down and put some Velcro dots to make it smaller. It will serve its purpose and I’m too busy to make everyone’s costume this year. His sister said he looked funny, he wasn’t amused.
