Would the small hat be too big for my 6-month-old mini dachshund?

We'd recommend measuring your dog for the best fit since dogs can vary in size. The Small/Medium measures 6 x 6 x 3 inches and the Medium/Large measures 7 1/4 x 7 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches.

I ordered one in the smallest size and one in medium/large. The strings are not very well attached to the hat. As soon as I was putting the medium/large size on

I ordered one in the smallest size and one in medium/large. The strings are not very well attached to the hat. As soon as I was putting the medium/large size on my German shepherd’s head, one string ripped off of the hat. I looked closer to where the strings are attached and it’s not very well attached. What I did was I ended up sewing the strings onto the hat and that ended up fixing it. I did it to the smaller size as well just in case. The hat is cute but it should be better made where the strings attach to the hat.

Really adorable hat, but it doesn't stand up on its own; the support is too flimsy. It should come with a cardboard insert to provide some support.

This was almost perfect! Unfortunately the drawstring clasp didn't seem to hold very well so we ended up just tying it to keep it tight on her head. Overall my dog

Product Size: Small for an adult Toy Fox Terrier, 8 lbs weight My pup's trainer suggested we get our pups used to wearing a graduation hat, and keeping it on for the photo op for the graduation day. The hat is very well made. It stays on the pup's head - it serves the purpose. Also, considering the quality of the product and the price, it may be one of the best purchases I have ever made for the pup!
