Instructions
Measure the distance between two sides in the cargo area Remove the bolt and nut to disassemble the barrier. Re-assemble the barrier according to the width you need. Get the straps through the barrier and further secure the straps using the attached hook and loop fasteners.

I've been looking at different car barriers for awhile. My dogs aren't usually tempted to jump into the front seat, but I've had some foster dogs who needed a little more help staying corralled to the back seat. This barrier is both durable and convenient. I like that it folds for easy storage and comes with a carrying case. My only complaint (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) was due to installation. I found it a little tricky to hold the barrier in place with one hand while attaching it to the headrests with the other. If you have an extra person to help with install, this is a great option.
Was unhappy as it was delivered late and was purchased for a trip.

I bought this after the first car barrier (another brand) didn’t work. This is easier to install and works great.

Easy to install for almost any vehicle
I wouldn’t recommend this if your puppy is a chewer, as it is held with nylon straps to the seats. Otherwise, this will suit the need to keep a dog in the back,

Works well for our purposes once installed, but is not as easy to install as advertised. The straps that attach the main barrier to the headrests are too short,

The straps that attach the main barrier to the headrests are too short, and it was difficult to get them buckled properly. The clasps that attach the extensions to the main barrier are also not easy to use. The final set up is worth recommending, but only if you have the patience to deal with the hassle of setup.

I bought this car barrier to keep my anxious dog from jumping into the backseat from the cargo area. It was affordable so I thought I would give it a try. Installation

Safety for Tank with piece of mind.
As Tank gets older, he is more energetic. As soon as the hatch opens he'll take off running. Now we're confident our puppy will stay safe.
