These boots have worked perfectly for our boy while recovering from surgery on his paw. They go on easily, stay on, and aren't difficult for him to walk in. His surgeon, a volunteer vet for the Iditerod, recommended the Polar Trex boots by the same manufacturer. Since it's warmer here, I went with Grip Trex. His internist was so impressed with this boot, she asked about the brand and source. A perfect 10!

I ordered the red shoes. They fit my dog well and stay on with socks . I have not tried them without socks. Since my 19yr old dog is in a wheelchair, he needs all

I ordered the red shoes. They fit my dog well and stay on with socks . I have not tried them without socks. Since my 19yr old dog is in a wheelchair, he needs all the grip he can get on his front paws. He wears socks with rubber tread in the house. When we go outside, these shoes slip on over his socks. So now his paws are protected by these shoes when he is outside.

Purchased two of these to replace a lost pair. We live in the desert where temps get up to 120+ during Aug. These shoes (get the socks also for the front paws at least) are GREAT on the pavement. The soles are high quality. I’ve had several (more than 5+) other types of shoes and none match this brand and style. I’ve had the same pair for both my boys for about 5 1/2 years, so they hold up great! Highly recommended.

Not long enough to stay on back paws

Sad because these seem very durable and well made, but they are just way too short to stay on. Got them for my dog who has a degenerative disease in his legs and

Sad because these seem very durable and well made, but they are just way too short to stay on. Got them for my dog who has a degenerative disease in his legs and therefore drags his back paws a bit. I hoped these would help and made sure to get the exact right size. They fit the size of his paws perfectly. However, they are just so short in length that they slip right off his paws. The Velcro straps do not help at all even when fully tightened. I understand they can’t cover the hock. But they could be made a bit longer as to stay up better. Disappointed.

Our old dog drags her back feet. She has worn down some of the nails to the quick. When we noticed that the quicks would bleed after a walk, we started looking for dog booties that would protect her feet. We found the perfect product in these Ruffwear booties! It didn't take our dog to long to get use to walking in the boots. She actually lifts her feet to walk in the boots. We are very happy with our purchase and the protection they give our dog's feet.
