First time buy at Chewy. A competitive price and amazing overnight delivery!!
Our holistic vet gave us this to help Barkley (6 year old havanese) digest his food better and to help empty his anal glands quicker and easier. It has done the trick! He hardly ever scoots anymore and he has firm, solid poops. This will make you and your pup very happy!! We highly recommend! He is 18 pounds so I empty half a capsule into his fresh food day and night. I may get just the powder next time.
My dog suffers from colitis. In order to help combat attacks-his diet has been changed, he is on CBD oil, a probiotic and colostrum. He went over a year without an attack. However, his last attack lingered longer than usual. So I wanted to give him something preventative. His vet suggested a chinese herb that was going to cost 40 a month. His above referenced protocol in addition to another supplement he takes for mast cell tumor prevention really adds up! So I searched for a cheaper alternative and found this. He's been on it a few weeks now (I waited a bit to write the review) and so far his stomach/intestines have not gurgled once and there has been no mucous in his stool. He's only on 1/2 dose as we have to take things slow due to his condition. So far I am super happy with the results and will continue administering it to him!
I'm sure this is a good product, but my cats won't eat the food I put it in. I have multiple cats, and they all turn their noses up at the food. Cats just tend to be pickier than dogs.
My dog was adopted with heartworms and the treatment messed up her stomach. After month of trying everything, and we didn't want to keep her on the prescription diet forever, we started cooking food. The vet recommended we add Nutrigest. The most amazing thing ever! From chronic diarrhea to nice solid poop. It's been over a month of this. So good!!
