Description

The Pin Brush is excellent for general grooming of small to large dog breeds. This Pin Brush helps to lift out loose hair and debris. Brushing distributes natural oils, leaving a shiny, healthy coat. If the coat tends to be heavily matted, a Safari comb, rake, or slicker can be used to break up the mats. The Pin Brush can also be used to fluff the coat by brushing against the direction of hair growth.

Key Benefits
  • Quality build made with a wooden handle that is meant to last.
  • Essential tool for all grooming kits. Easily lifts out shedding hair and debris.
  • Daily brushing ensures a healthy and shiny coat by distributing natural oils around the your pet's fur.
  • Perfect for tough jobs when used alongside a Safari comb, rake, or slicker. Getting rid of tangles and mats have never been so easy!
  • Ideal for dog breeds and coat types.

    Pup loves it

    By on

Old brush worn out, needed new one. Old one had plastic tips, so leery this one would be too ruff. Pup loves it. He has skin issues and this one seems to stimulate blood circulation. Also good scratch, but need a light touch. Have gotten laser treatments at vet's. So hopefully home brushing will do same thing.

    Love this and Disappointment

    By on

I purchased one of these brushes last summer from a local shop. I have Pomeranians and keep them in full coat. It worked very well to get through their thick undercoats. I liked the smooth pins (no knobs on the ends that pull their coats)and the comfortable handle. I actually purchased a second brush to have on hand. Unfortunately when I was using the first brush before Christmas I felt the handle crack... I decided to try to use superglue to fix it, but when I looked closer it had cracked several places around the rubber brush base. Thankfully I had the second one, or so I thought, until I used it on one dog and it cracked the same way. Evidently there is a weak spot in the handle where it widens I purchased one of these brushes last summer from a local shop. I have Pomeranians and keep them in full coat. I am very disappointed in the quality of the handle. I see there used to be a wooden handled version. I would love to try one of those as it shouldn't crack. I am going to give this brush one more try.... hopefully the handle will last on this one. … more

    Finally A Brush That Lasts!

    By on

I purchased the original version of this brush (clear coat wooden handle) in Jan 2017 and it is by far the BEST brush I have ever owned! Simon is my third Golden Retriever and he has a long coat. This brush allows me to quickly go over his coat and keep it clean and tangle free. The quality is phenomenal and, unlike the numerous other pin brushes I have owned, the pins do not pull out or disappear into the rubber base! It is also easy to clean.

    Disappointed

    By on

Was lead to believe that the bristles had the little round nubs on the end. They don't. As a result, the brush does not collect the hair like my old WOODEN (not plastic) brush did.

    Very Disappointed

    By on

No where near as good as the original clear wood-handled one. Local pet store owner concurs. Pins too long, not enough of them, grabs and pulls instead of brushing through fur. Looking for a better product, somewhere.

    Great brush

    By on

So far so good...hoping it lasts for frequent use. I like that the pins don't have those balls on the ends so that I can get though profusely coated dogs.

    Just not for long hair

    By on

It feels really nice when holding. It doesn’t seem to brush very well. My girl is a GSD coat. It just seems to move over her hair and pulls her hair. She doesn’t like it. My male GSD it works well on his coat. He has a regular coat.

    Works Great!

    By on

This pin brush was recommended by the breeder of my miniature poodle, and it is just what I need to brush through my dog's ears and poms before I use a slicker brush. Wish I had bought this brush a long time ago -- it is sturdy and well designed.

Not what I thought it would be.

    By on

Looking at the picture on the website, it looked like there were rubber covers on the pins. When this product arrived the pins are not covered at all. Clarence has not been scratched by this product but it is not what I thought it would be. I would much prefer one with rubber pins.
