Does this gate come assembled, or do you have to put it together?

This gate does not require assembly however, it may be disassembled for cleaning. To clean, press buttons on pressure rods and slide side rods off. Slide all rods out of fabric channels. Machine wash fabric gate panel in cold water on delicate cycle. Line dry.

Is my cat able to claw a whole through the mesh if she refused to jump over?

The mesh for this gate is not claw proof.

Does What It Says

I needed to be able to be sure that my dog didn't run out of the door (since "stay" is not quite in her vocabulary yet). It was hard to find something as the opening

I needed to be able to be sure that my dog didn't run out of the door (since "stay" is not quite in her vocabulary yet). It was hard to find something as the opening I have is almost 5 feet. This does the job, however, it is unwieldy to use as a permanent installation, so I can't use it on a regular basis.

Great for wide doorways

I had one of these before. Works great with two drawbacks, gets dirty fast and have to readjust bars every time I use. If you have a chewer, you have to watch them

I had one of these before. Works great with two drawbacks, gets dirty fast and have to readjust bars every time I use. If you have a chewer, you have to watch them or there won’t be anything left of it. The first one, yes have bought two, my dog was older, so no chewing problem. The next one it took a while before she learned not to chew on it, so I do have one small hole in the netting. So if you’re not sure its best to watch them on security camera until they learn its not their new chew toy. It’s a good height even for larger dogs.

Amazing Gate

It's easy to assemble and stays in place once you get it situated without any issues. I am however disappointed that the manufacturer of quality doesn't know how

It's easy to assemble and stays in place once you get it situated without any issues. I am however disappointed that the manufacturer of quality doesn't know how to properly count as I did not get all the screws and had to go purchase what I needed to be able to use it as I couldn't wait for another to get here as I already got my new furry family member. Looks nice though and works well for separating out spaces.

Great, but other reviews are right

I have 2 of these gates and came back to order a 3rd (temporarily unavailable, wa-wa). As other reviewers have stated, the pocket rods are overly lined causing issues

I have 2 of these gates and came back to order a 3rd (temporarily unavailable, wa-wa). As other reviewers have stated, the pocket rods are overly lined causing issues threading the rod through. You get about 80% in and they won’t budge. While it’s stated these are a pet gate, I don’t see the reason for all the padding. Yes it looks like a baby gate, yes they are probably using the same baby gate construction to save manufacturing cost, but for the love of god they need a better option for the padded pocket rods or don’t make them padded.

Product that I received is gray. The pictures are misrepresentation as I was expecting to receive a cream/beige gate to match the color scheme of our house.

Looks like a good idea

But it's not!!! Impossible to assemble because horizontal rods get stuck in the lining of the fabric portion of the gate and cannot be passed entirely through the

Great gate, but

So the gate itself is actually great,the problem comes in when you extend it ALL the way out, The mesh fabric is so tight that it causes the too and bottom bars

So the gate itself is actually great,the problem comes in when you extend it ALL the way out, The mesh fabric is so tight that it causes the too and bottom bars to twist. So for example if I just wanted to use the entire length between two railings but not use the tension part of it, you really can’t because there just isn’t enough fabric to let it set. It causes the betting to become to taut and twists. Other then that it’s a great gate. Just needs a bit more material so you can use the full extension

Does any company try to assemble their own products before selling them? This should be super easy to assemble, except that the channels are filled with extra loose

Does any company try to assemble their own products before selling them? This should be super easy to assemble, except that the channels are filled with extra loose fabric that makes it impossible to slide the grippy ends of the tension rods through - maddening such a simple thing that the channels could have been made with a different kind of material. Unusable.
