Is the egg crate foam a 100% memory foam?

The filling is made of 60% Polyester Fiber and 40% Polyurethane Foam.

Is the filling in the bolsters inside sleeves that can be pulled out quickly to wash the cover? Or is the filling just stuffed in the bolsters.

For foam care, remove the foam cushion from the zippered outer cover. Do not put foam in the washer or dryer. Spot clean with mild soap, rinse and squeeze water out gently. Let air dry away from direct sunlight and heat. For the cover, do not remove the polyester filling from the bolster. Machine wash cover separately, in cold water, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. A large capacity washer without an agitator is recommended for best results. Lay flat or line dry. Do not use bleach, iron, or dry clean.

Immediately loved!

We have two rescues, a small mixed breed and a pitty. One loves laying his head on a pillow or bolster, the other likes to curl up in a corner. This bed is large

We have two rescues, a small mixed breed and a pitty. One loves laying his head on a pillow or bolster, the other likes to curl up in a corner. This bed is large enough for them both to have what makes them comfy. Once it was opened and fully expanded, they immediately made themselves comfortable. Great bed and well received so far!

Machine washable where?

My dog loves this bed, it’s a perfect size for him. He uses the elevated sides as a pillow. However, the loose stuffing material on the rim makes this bed NOT machine

The firmness of the dog bed.

This bed is amazing. The pups love it! Even though they are a smaller breed, the two of them can fit comfortably into the bed and enjoy hanging out. It's sturdy

A bit smaller than I would like

The measurement seems a little off. It’s smaller than I expected but nice and most importantly he likes it. Just wish it was a bit larger.

Surprising that sleeping surface is the only issue.

As this bed is made by Serta, I expected that the "4" orthopedic foam sleep surface" would be "ideal for soothing senior buddies with joint and hip pain" as noted

As this bed is made by Serta, I expected that the "4" orthopedic foam sleep surface" would be "ideal for soothing senior buddies with joint and hip pain" as noted in the product description. Certain portions of the foam sleep surface were closer to 2" rather than 4". I ended up using the memory foam from my dog's old bed which worked ok, just not something I was expecting from a Serta dog bed.

I bought the large size even though he is a medium size dog because he loves to stretch out. It’s very comfortable too and we can wash the cover.

false advertising Serta XL dog bed

Despite what the description may say, the Serta quilted XL dog bed is NOT machine washable (the bolster contains loose materials so cannot be removed). Nor is it

Despite what the description may say, the Serta quilted XL dog bed is NOT machine washable (the bolster contains loose materials so cannot be removed). Nor is it 4" high - at best it 3" at the top of the egg crate. Oh yeah about that egg crate pad - definitely not orthopedic in any way, shape, or form. This bed is not worth the price - save your money!

Poor Quality

Not made as well as the Serta bed I was replacing. Foam is thin and not orthopedic at all. It looks older out of the box than the 3 year old bed I was replacing
