What is animal plasma?

The animal plasma used in this recipe is dried porcine plasma protein (pork blood). The highly palatable ingredient is sourced from a process where the liquid portion of blood is separated from plasma, which is spray dried. Plasma is used as a source of protein, a palatant and also for texture. Additionally, it is commonly used in the petfood industry as a source of protein, as a binder to help hold meat chunks together, and as a source of vitamin, minerals and amino acids.

Tiger got a taste of Sheba Gravy cat food while Moxie was over for a visit, and I was honestly shocked at how much he loved it. Tiger is 20 years old and very set in his ways, especially when it comes to food, but one taste of this Sheba and he was hooked. We love that it has plenty of gravy, which he happily laps right up, making it perfect for an older cat. The small portion packs are another huge plus since Tiger prefers several small meals throughout the day, and there is much less waste. If you have a senior or picky cat, this food is definitely worth trying. It’s officially been added to Tiger’s approved list.

The added gravy!

This is our cat’s new favorite. She has always eaten Sheba in gravy but this new gravy indulgence it’s her fav!!! She would only lick the gravy and eat some meat

Difficult to open, not much food

I’ve discovered that I’m not a fan of plastic tray cat food packaging. The seal is tight, so you have to hold the tray tightly to peel the lid back. Once it opens,

I’ve discovered that I’m not a fan of plastic tray cat food packaging. The seal is tight, so you have to hold the tray tightly to peel the lid back. Once it opens, it inevitably spills gravy on the counter and on my hand. I’m usually food at figuring out a technique to deal with new challenges, this one has me failing every day. I’ll stick with cans, much easier, more food in the BOWL instead of the counter. The consistency is like soup with a few bits of meat. I WILL say that our cats love it, but it’s lapped up in seconds, and they’re still looking at me for more food. My regular cat food is temporarily out of stock, so I’m trying new things.

Maybe the next time if possible to make sure when they are packed in a box that they are protected & maybe have bubble wrap or something because the delivery driver just threw the box and etc. but if possible can I have a new one of the Sheba variety pack that would be great.

I have the food all over the place before I can get it to my kitty's plate. Also, the two that come together are too hard to pop apart without tearing both open. That means I have to put the extra one in the fridge.

Maizie loves it!

My cat loves her portioned Sheba meals and I love the portion containers and how easy they are to open and serve. I usually top them off with a bit of Churro paste!!!
