Works as expected

I got this dryer for my two medium size dogs who are heavier shedders to help get the extra hair off of them after baths, along with just getting them dryer quickly

I got this dryer for my two medium size dogs who are heavier shedders to help get the extra hair off of them after baths, along with just getting them dryer quickly. Having worked at a groomers before, I was impressed with this one given the price. It works as expected and I like that there is no concern with the heat setting getting too warm as that was often something I had to be careful of when using the larger models at the groomers.

Not good!

When I received it, it worked perfectly fine bu, I had to buy a hose replacement a month later. I bought it on Sept. 21 and today, Dec. 10, the motor stopped working

My little Bichon was happy and curious when her new Shelandy Dog Groomer Dryer arrived. We were both excited to use this instead of our old human hair dryer ; which works, but is a bit awkward to use not to mention the blower motor is right next to her ear. Imagine our surprise when I turned it on for the 1st time and it was as loud as the 25 year old 5 gallon Craftsman shop vac I have! My poor pup fled from the room in such a panic that it took multiple treats to coax her from her crate. Seriously though, this thing is insanely loud for its purpose and the hose is, it best 2-3 feet in useable length.

Picky, full coated Pom doesn’t mind it

My full coated (not cut into a puppy or lion cut) Pomeranian gets a bath every 10-14 days. He is really picky about the airflow from dryers. As long as I start out with a regular hair dryer with less air flow for his face and chest, I can switch to this dryer for the rest of his body. It definitely cuts down on the blow drying time and leaves him fluffy. I keep the heat on the lowest setting, I feel anything else is too warm, but my dog is always warm natured. I’ve tried several dryers and this is the one he doesn’t fight. My one nitpick is the hose often detaches from the dryer, I wish it was permanently attached or at least had some mechanism holding it on there tightly-I may resort to taping the hose to the vacuum which I shouldn’t have to do for this price point. Otherwise, I’m happy with the product, but more importantly, my dog is fine with it.

This isnt intense enough for a large poodle or blowing a coat of a husky. But this is better than nothing, straightens my poodles coat to help prevent matts after

I just got it and only used it twice, however it is powerful, cut the time in drying my dogs in half. My dogs didn't like it because it is very loud, but it works
