I got these for my cat who loves beef and feels just 'meh' about chicken and seafood, so I wondered if he would like these. He likes them very much! For a cat, the size of the treats is a bit too large and they are a little too hard for him to chew. I can squish them into smaller bits, so I've been using them as a topper and a mix-in for wet food. He eats every bite. I got the 8 oz bag which is a lot for a cat. I'll get a smaller bag the next time.

Shepherd Boy Farms Freeze Dried Pork Hearts (For dogs and cats) were a delicious treat for my senior dog. He doesn’t have many teeth left, but was able to eat these treats. He thoroughly enjoyed them. My cat however, thought they were a play toy and batted the two I put down for her all around my house. My almost 15 year-old dachshund is trying to follow her so he can eat them. It has actually turned into a game between the two of them. She sees him coming and bats it away. It’s very entertaining! I would highly recommend these treats for your dog and possibly your cat. I will definitely order these treats again.

The texture and consistency are comfortable for handling on walks. There is no greasy residue, unlike other toppers. He has food allergies, so we are cautious about ingredients. The packaging and information are clear and concise. Will definitely buy again.

Very similar in size and consistency to freeze dried liver treats. Dogs all enjoyed them, I gave the cat a couple and she seemed to like them too. They're mostly 1/4 inch cubes with some smaller pieces in there. I knocked off a star because almost a third of the bag is dust. I'll save the dust at the end to put on their food to not waste it, but I would rather have useable treats. I threw them in a pouch to use for agility and they were easy to work with, didn't crumble.

My cat is incredibly food motivated but can be picky about treats. He loves these freeze dried pig hearts! He usually inhales most treat without chewing them, but because these are a little larger than most cat treats hes forced to chew them. If your cat is an inhaler, you may want to keep an eye on them when they're eating them. The treats have a slightly odd smell when you open them but it disapates quickly. Bag is quite large, directions note to use within 45 days of opening. Not sure we'll be able finish the bag in that time. Probably a better sized bag for a large dog owner
