Is the silicon more resistant to wearing through? I have had metal and plastic tags, but the hole always gets worn through by the metal joiner and falls off.

This is a silicone ID tag. Some people choose to list microchipped as one of the lines of personalization to alert others that their pet is micro-chipped!

Nice concept but needs some revision

It is a much quieter tag which is why I bought it, however the company put their name on the tag and it is so large (on such a small tag) that one could easily think

It is a much quieter tag which is why I bought it, however the company put their name on the tag and it is so large (on such a small tag) that one could easily think the dog's name is "Silidog." I am also not a fan of the attachment. It was hard to close and doesn't fit with other tags. I was worried it wouldn't stay closed but so far it has held.

Love it!

My other dog is afraid of the random 'clink' from metal tags, so I replaced both of their tags with these type (got the Bee one for the other dog) and attached to

My other dog is afraid of the random 'clink' from metal tags, so I replaced both of their tags with these type (got the Bee one for the other dog) and attached to their harnesses instead of collars. I didn't realize that this tag glows in the dark! I love that. It is clear and easy to read, quiet, and doesn't bother them at all on the harness. Since this one can be 2-sided, I put my information on one side and "Rotten Little Buggy" on the other since I call her that frequently.
