To measure for martingale collar is it from end to end on buckles or from the material attached to buckles?

To measure your pet for this collar, it is recommended that you measure your dog's neck circumference and add 1" - 2" for comfort. You should be able to fit one or two fingers under the dog's collar when on the dog. Please note that traditional martingale collars do not feature a buckle.

There are no clips or clasps

My dog is a puller. I have purchased so many collars it's unreal. I don't trust the clip collars and she always stretches out the holes on the regular collars. Or

Flexible control

I love how it gives, and takes, only tightening around ENTIRE neck (unlike regular collar) when pressure applied, AND if puppy afraid, it can’t slide off head!

I love how it gives, and takes, only tightening around ENTIRE neck (unlike regular collar) when pressure applied, AND if puppy afraid, it can’t slide off head! I would just encourage everyone with a dog to please make sure collar always up high right under chin when applying pressure, so you don’t damage their wind pipe. I definitely recommend this collar!

A Collar that does not fall off

I have a Great Dane who seems to break every collar we put on her. Most collars have a plastic connector and she seems to find a way to break them. I have lost several

I have a Great Dane who seems to break every collar we put on her. Most collars have a plastic connector and she seems to find a way to break them. I have lost several collars and two GPS trackers! So far, she has no been able to break this collar off. It fits loosely, but if you pull back it tightens on her neck, letter her know that you want her attention. The purple is a true purple, and very attractive on her neck. I would buy a martingale collar again.

Difficult to resize

I measured and then bought a size large for an 80 lb pitbull and it was plenty big, I probably could have sized down. The collar is very sturdy and seems durable,

I measured and then bought a size large for an 80 lb pitbull and it was plenty big, I probably could have sized down. The collar is very sturdy and seems durable, but it was too difficult to resize it or remove it compared to other martingales I've used (that also don't have a buckle). We usually need to tighten the collar for proper placement for walks, and then loosen it a little once we get home, or often remove it for cleaning and such. I ended up cutting it off because it got too frustrating and the dog would get irritated and start to freak out while we were trying to adjust it every day. I will switch back to the other brand we used that slides a little better when resizing.
