Good for our dogs

Our friend told us that feeding our dogs kibble alone really wasn't enough, and was probably shortening their life span. We couldn't afford to go all freeze-dried

Our friend told us that feeding our dogs kibble alone really wasn't enough, and was probably shortening their life span. We couldn't afford to go all freeze-dried raw all the time, but the Simple Food Project's Chicken and Turkey recipe as a topper for our dogs' kibble is a nice alternative. At least we feel like we're doing SOMETHING, and we're more motivated to throw some leftover veggies or frozen blueberries or a scrambled egg on their food along with the freeze-dried topper, and they literally cannot WAIT to eat (dogs are pretty food-focused anyway, but they had grown tired of their kibble alone). I guess you could say we're all hooked on the more healthy option!

The vet recommended trying a freeze dried diet. gradually switched them over to this food and boy oh boy not only to they absolutely love the food, but I have seen no more vomiting or from my little guy. Both Jack and Ginger clean their plates every time now!

Finally something my picky dog loves

My dog is usually really picky, but this recipe was a total hit. I love that there’s a mix of different nuggets, some crunchy air-dried ones, softer freeze-dried

Would not recommend for smaller dogs personally. The turkey was very hard, even after adding water Somewhat expensive More turkey than chicken in the bag
