Is it safe for cats? It is coming up in my search for Cat Detangler, but it is a product for dogs.

All of Skout's Honor's products are safe to use on cats. However, some cats have a skin sensitivity to perfumes, so we recommend the more hypoallergenic unscented option for use on felines and other sensitive species.

This is the second detangling spray we tried from Chewy and it again disappointed. We have a GSD mix who has really fluffy hindlegs/butt and scruffy elbows that

This is the second detangling spray we tried from Chewy and it again disappointed. We have a GSD mix who has really fluffy hindlegs/butt and scruffy elbows that get crazy matted, not to mention his fuzzy ears get matted dreadlocks that are impossible to get out. Hydra Ultra Detangle and Dematting Finishing Spray is the only thing that has ever worked but it can only be bought at specialty stores which is a bummer because we love buying from chewy!

not sure how to get this work

I used this on my cat, he’s not too crazy about the spray but will tolerate it, however it smells great and works well and the scents sticks for over a week.

Great for detangling!

I used this on my cat with long hairs and it loosened the hair granted I did also buy a nice rack brush and that helped also and this stuff smells amazing.

Only for maintenance

Did not matter how much we soaked our Siamese mix cats matted fur it never softened it enough that it would let us come it out. He was very sensitive. Ended up giving

Did not matter how much we soaked our Siamese mix cats matted fur it never softened it enough that it would let us come it out. He was very sensitive. Ended up giving him a boot camp hair cut in those areas to remove clumps while pumping him full of Temptations cat treats during the process. No treats = no cooperation. Took 2 people to do.
