I've been giving Slide HA+ to my 11 year old standard Aussie for a couple of months now. He has been on a glucosamine chondroitin supplement for several years, but he was getting up slower and had developed a limp, so I added the Slide HA+ to his regimen. The product is a very fine powder and mixes easily into his kibble with a spoonful of wet food. It seems to completely dissolve pretty quickly, but even if there are traces left in bowl he still licks it clean, so the taste is either appealing or non-existent. The powder has no odor, so I'd lean towards no taste. I didn't notice any immediate change in his movement, but now that he's been on it for a couple of months, I can say that his limp has improved (though not completely gone), and he seems to be getting up and moving better. I think adding Slide HA+ to his regimen sooner--when he was younger--may have been a good preventative measure, but the price is higher than what I would normally choose for supplement with no symptoms present. That said, if you have the budget, I do think it's a product worth trying for any stage of mobility issues. The four star rating is simply because of the price.

Our 15-year-old Australian Shepherd, Emma, absolutely loves this joint supplement! We mix it with her food and a little bone broth, and she licks the bowl clean every time. Within just a few weeks, we noticed she was moving easier, getting up with less stiffness, and even wanting to play again. At her age, comfort and mobility mean everything, and this has truly made a difference. We’re so thankful to have found something that works and that she actually enjoys! Highly recommend for any senior pup needing a little extra support. 🐾❤️

I’ve been using this product for about a month now on my pup and I haven’t noticed a real difference in her. In the cautions section on the bottle it says could cause gastrointestinal upset but she’s been completely fine taking it twice a day and hasn’t had any stomach issues. I will continue to use it and update if I notice any differences.

This product must be used twice a day. It’s a powder that you can’t just sprinkle on the food, it has to be mixed in 10 ml of water. This results in a snotty/slimy texture. This process takes more time when preparing her food. The product is pricy and costs more than my human supplement for joints. She did eat it. It would be difficult to mix in dry food alone and it was difficult to mix in with the small amount of wet food we give her. I don’t know if it works because it hasn’t been enough time.

the jar will last a very long time for little dogs. powder easily mixes into wet food to hide it. starting at a half dose to avoid tummy issues. unsure of long term success in regards to joint care but she will eat it and the ingredients look pretty good ! the powder also has no odor or artificial flavor smells that typically tell my dogs that theres "vitamins" in their food which they usually will refuse to eat. plan to finish the jar which is cost effective considering my 3 dogs are all under 13 lbs

The SLIDE Joint Care ha+ Canine Powder comes in a nicely packaged plastic container that’s double-sealed for safety. It’s a very fine white powder with a mild glue-like scent, similar to some other powdered supplements, which isn’t unpleasant. The directions recommend mixing it with warm water and food, but I found it doesn’t dissolve easily — it tends to clump, a bit like cocoa powder in milk. I haven’t been using it long enough to comment on any results yet, but the presentation and quality seem good so far.

This product is not something you can just hand over to your dog to chew, unfortunately. This product is a powder that has to be added to your dog's food. If your dog eats kibble like mine does and I have 3 dogs, you have to figure something else out to mix this powder with. I tried to think about cheese, that's what we use for their pills but that would be a lot of cheese, I couldn't do that to my dogs. Then I remember that they love canned pumpkin! This will be perfect but it does call for extra work on my side. Well, they love it so I just started using it, hopefully it will be better than what we are using now.

SLIDE joint supplement is a powder supplement that is made with glucosamine and other vitamins for joint care. I ordered this product because I have two older Goldens, one who has hip issues and arthritis that she deals with. This product is a powder that needs to be mixed with water and added to the food. No mixing issues and my girls still eat their food like normal.

This supplement is easy to use, though the instructions for using it seemed a little vague to me. Seems to be a good product for older dogs such as ours, (Benji is seven with long legs and an insatiable urge to run like a crazy dog, Dalton is 9 or over; not sure since he was an adult rescue). I use a human capsule for my own joints, LOL! It didn't have any flavor, so our dogs were a bit hesitant to try it. They did better when sprinkled it dry in their rations. Irt also didn't have any smell to tantalize them to eat/lick it up. So for keeping joints 'lubricated, this is a good product, but I would have wished it to be more 'dog appealing'.

The Slide joint lubrication powder seems to already be helping my old man's cranky joints, after only a few days. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the taste and it mixes well with his wet food. I can see that it would be an issue if he only ate dry. It is also a lot of powder to add to each meal I wish it was more concentrated so I could use less per meal
