Are these cooked before freeze drying?

These treats are made using HPP (High Pressure Pasteurization) and are then freeze-dried. Because of the high pressure involved in this step, plus the combination of freeze-drying, freeze-dried foods are considered fully pasteurized much like cooked food is.

They’re definitely on the stinkier side — you’ll know the moment you open the bag — but that strong smell is exactly what makes them so irresistible to my dogs. I have 5 Miniature Schnauzers. They look forward to their snacks. On the upside, they all loved these freeze dried chicken livers. I’m happy that it’s a snack

I have 5 Miniature Schnauzers. They look forward to their snacks. On the upside, they all loved these freeze dried chicken livers. I’m happy that it’s a snack that’s good for them. There’s also no mess or odor. On the downside, they’re mostly small pieces, like the size of kibble. It’s hard to use as a treat. I’ve been adding it as a topper in their food. So, that’s the reason I took away one star. If they were just a bit bigger, I would give it 5 stars.

These are very high quality liver treats. My dogs and evenn my cats loved them! I’ve been buying liver treats for many years. Usually, there’s some that are really hard or have sharp edges. These do not. They are uniform in size and texture and easy for the dogs to digest. I have three Chihuahuas and three Australian shepherds. They all did well with them and my two cats! I highly recommend these for all size dogs and if your cat is a fan of liver treats, that will work too!

Works great for training and my dogs LOVE it

I used this for help with training my newest rescue. He is doing much better, but so food oriented, he still jumps up when I try to give the other dogs one of these
