Instructions
Cats are creatures of habit with short attention spans—that's why brief, scheduled play sessions with your feline are best. Just two or more 10 to 15-minute sessions of interactive play a day is paw-fect and can also help preserve the battery life in your cat's favorite toy. The expected battery life in this toy is 1 hour, so remember to turn it off when it's not being used!

Is there a replacement arm that I can buy?
I need a replacement for the mouse. My cat hid it! Lol
Listing states "Great for individual play to keep your cat occupied while you are away." Can my cat actually use this while I am gone and he is bored? Doesn't look like it. Thanks.
What type of batteries does it need? Does it have to be inside or outside?

My cat loves this thing

We got this for our kitten Seamus when he was still pretty little. He's now not so little and we're on toy #3 - we'll probably keep getting them as long as he still goes for it. Pros: - cat freaking loves it. he'll ask for it when it's put away - no sounds!! apart from the motor noise, it doesn't squeak or anything like that - simple controls: push button to start, push again to go faster, push again to stop. so simple that Seamus has figured out how to turn it on himself Cons: - the motor does fail eventually and there's no way to fix it - not rechargable and you need a mini screwdriver to replace the batteries - you can't buy just the toy on the wand (he loves that dang furry thing, I'd buy them in bulk if I could) Overall it's worth a try for a cat who likes to "hunt"! Just be prepared for it to not last forever.

Even though it did keep my kittens interest there was a lot of issues. The toy is pretty flimsy. My kitten kept turning it upside down, the little mouse lever kept coming off (had to glue it on), the drape thing kept bunching up or coming off. And it's definitely not friendly as far as how long it lasts too bad it's not rechargeable instead of battery operated. My kitten came from the streets Maybe it's not for a street kittens but for domesticated house kittens lol. Definitely not a happy with product.
Engaging and quiet!
This is a fantastic toy! Planning to order another for stand by. It is quiet enough that the cats love to play with it. Bothe the senior kitty and the baby love
This is a fantastic toy! Planning to order another for stand by. It is quiet enough that the cats love to play with it. Bothe the senior kitty and the baby love it and seek us out to turn it on (haven't figured out how to teach them to push the button yet, but here's to hoping we can!) This one is wonderful, the "mouse" on the stick can come undone with the kitties batting at it, but found a small dab of super glue fixed that slight problem and allows us to change it out still if needed. It's been over 3 weeks, and they still play with it daily! This is especially great as the baby gets a bit too feisty with the senior, and this is a great distraction for her so he can rest. Can't give it enough stars, we love it!
so so construction of toy
The skirt and the toy that moves around, both come off of the main base each time the toy is used. This requires three batteries which are drained rather quickly
The skirt and the toy that moves around, both come off of the main base each time the toy is used. This requires three batteries which are drained rather quickly. The box that contains the batteries requires a tiny tool (glasses screwdriver) to open. It is a huge pain to access. I used tape rather than putting the screw back in place because of this hassle. When all things are working together, the cats are engaged, but......that's when it works. Kind of disappointed.
Not a good fit for my cat
My cat quickly got bored of this toy and learned she could just sit on the feather so it would stop. The flashing lights also bothered me a lot, I didn't realize
My cat quickly got bored of this toy and learned she could just sit on the feather so it would stop. The flashing lights also bothered me a lot, I didn't realize they were always on. I gave this away to a friend who has younger kittens, and they had a blast for some time as far as I know. Maybe my cat is just too grumpy. Also, the blue thing came off easily, and it's pretty loud. Bothered my cat
I have bought these for all the family members
This toy was such a hit with my cats, that we have gifted them to multiple family members for their own. Everyone loves them. A great way for them to entertain themselves
This toy was such a hit with my cats, that we have gifted them to multiple family members for their own. Everyone loves them. A great way for them to entertain themselves and it takes very little space. I suggest rechargeable batteries, as they will wear them out playing. It has held up well to being flipped over and dragged around by my ruffians. Hoping to buy a spare to keep on hand because mine love it so much.
Excellent investment!

I got this thing on sale for only $12, so while I'm not sure if it's worth the full retail price -- my cat really enjoys it! It has an auto shut-off (I think it's about 15 minutes, but I haven't timed it) to keep from running the battery out when your cat loses interest. I do recommend supervising play because sometimes the arm can come off and become a choking hazard and need to be re-attached. I've yet to find replacement arms when/if the existing one breaks, but given that it was only a $12 toy, I'm happy enough that I can easily attach a new feather or something to the existing arm when/if needed before the motor gives out. My cat has a LOT of wand toys and I'm into sewing, so the lack of replacement attachments really only takes one star off for me.
Our small terrier really likes it!
It's very simple to assemble and use. I do wish there was a faster speed and that the cover was a little bigger because when the toy pops out and is fully exposed
It's very simple to assemble and use. I do wish there was a faster speed and that the cover was a little bigger because when the toy pops out and is fully exposed and just lays there for a few seconds - the toy seems to lose its mystic for our dog. But all in all, he really seems to like it, and it's quite durable so those are big pluses in my book. It keeps him entertained (although he does like an encouraging audience while he plays with it).
Small in size
This has a lot of really good reviews but honestly, I’m not quite sure how. I think there is a manufacturer problem with it. Think of the old righty tighty lefty
This has a lot of really good reviews but honestly, I’m not quite sure how. I think there is a manufacturer problem with it. Think of the old righty tighty lefty Loosey. It spins to the left so over time, the wand loosens and it falls off. roughly every five minutes I have to screw it back on. However, the cats seem to Really enjoy it. It is smaller than I pictured it would be.
SmartyKat More like NOT for smart cats
Im so absolutely disappointed Ive had this toy before years ago and it never came apart The second i set this up for my boyfriends cat the feathered tip that spins
