A Few Cons

First off if you're getting this cause it's purple the one you get is orange. Second if your home/apartment is mostly carpet don't get this toy (it doesn't move around on carpet). Thirdly when it's sitting upright the ribbons spin one direction really well but the other way not so much. Fourth the button to turn it on an off is super easy for your cat to push so they may accidentally turn it off. I will say this if you keep your cat in a kennel or if you have a place to turn the toy upsidedown it works really well like that.

This toy is useless. It worked the first couple of times and the cats were interested. Now it doesn’t spin it just sits there trying to make the ribbons go round. I really think Chewy should be held accountable for products they sell. They should tell Smarty Cat to fix the problem or refuse to sell anymore of their items. This wasn’t the first dud I have bought from Smarty Cat marketed by Chewy.

Waste of money

This toy does not work. My first one arrived with no ribbon topper. I was sent a free replacement, but the toy will not spin when the topper is on it. It spins fine when its removed, but not with the ribbons. The motor is not strong enough to spin with the topper.

Cats showed interest

It's a great attention getter for both dogs and cats. My cats showed interest, even slapping it and biting the plastic fronds. After a few minutes though, they moved on to other things. After all, they are cats. Our little Terrier dog also wanted to play with it.

I bought this with the understanding that it would spin and move around. Yeah not the case it barely moved. My cat touched it and it slightly moved thats about it.

Hours of fun

Angel, my cat, doesn't play much, but she does like this. Even when its off she likes chewing on it. If you decide to get one, just realize it doesn't really work on carpet.

Had no on/off button and didn't work properly

I had to use a screwdriver just to turn on the thing, and all it did was shake a little. When I was asked if I wanted a replacement, I said no way.

Good interactive toy

My cat really liked it. The movement keeps her engaged. She was able to get the top part off but I was able to reattach it thankfully.

stopped twirling

my cat loved this toy, but after a few weeks it stopped twirling and rolling. it will twitch a couple times, and make the noise like it's going to twirl, but then it just stops. tried changing the batteries, didn't help.

Disapppointed

The ball spun like crazy on day 1, but since then it rocks back & forth without spinning. My cat loved it on Day 1. Now he ignores it.
