Smokehouse Large Chicken Chips Dog Treats, 4-oz bag

I thought that these would have like the little US 25 cent quarter sized chips, only larger, justifying the cost to quantity ratio and giving dogs more crunch. They are more leathery. Dogs like them, but my dogs are large, can't pin this size to rip into bits, and really don't chew - because they are dogs eating a quick reward / treat. So they kind of choke sometimes. I end up ripping these into smaller bits and giving them that way. Dogs, doing dog math, are excited about 4 instead of one. However, I am going back to the small crunchy things that are chippier, in American English, anyway. ( if you consider French fries chips, I guess anything goes). For small dogs, these are probably heavenly. But I thought you should know about texture. Neutral rating for expectations not really matching product presentation. If these things are supposed to be crisp and crunchy, and I got a weird batch, my apologies. It's a very consistent texture. Smokehouse products are very good about this and that's why I buy them.

My dogs love dried chicken treats and these smell great when you open the bag. So fresh!
